Not true, I registered with M1 but got nothing. That guy probably registered extremely early to get allocations and M1 likely held stock for him until he responded.
i see. then it's a different case le. 6pm+ is because telco is kind enough to held the stock.

so can't really say telco got more stocks. or there is no demand.

anyways. iOS11 is quite a big update for the iPad side and also gestures for iPhone X without Home button.
but still very disappointing given that it was in public beta and the bugs are not resolved or not reported.

This is called media hype :s22:
AirPods has shortages of up to 4 weeks but they were still being delivered early and all.
Suppliers already mentioned that they’ll be able to tide through the holiday season.

Means for those who still wanna get, is it ok to get and wait 5-6 weeks or might as well wait?

You can online first. Then check back the Apple Store app every morning to see if they have some stocks.

If they do, book an appointment to collect the iPhone X of your choice and cancel your online order.

My logic is, if i am going to spend so much on a phone, i might as well go for the biggest, if your finance allow.

But giving yesterday situation, just whack and get a phone is more important than anything else.

Back to this storage space, i always said if you can manage your storage, then it shouldn't be a problem. I went from a iphone 7 128GB to a iphone 8 64GB, storage space reduce by half, but i have no issue with that. My bare minimum requirement is 64GB for myself. I take lots of photos with my phone, so are videos, and esp iphone 8 now support 4K60fps, i tend to take more. I still have around 40GB left. I do not treat my phone as a storage device like some other does. When i run low on storage, i just move the photos and videos to my PC. I do keep some in my phone, but i do not need to keep ALL. Everytime i go oversea, i will move the photos inside my phone to my PC as back up. This way, i always have enough space in my phone.

Some people are just lazy to back up their stuffs, hence they need to buy a bigger storage phone. Most importantly is how you use your phone.

To be frank, with the new HEVC, video storage space will go down. Not to mention, if you use iCloud Photo Library, only thumbnails are stored on the phone for most pictures.

Thou actual storage on my iPhone is only 32 GB. I'm pretty sure if I swap down to a smaller phone, even less will be cached.
