iPhone users are already ditching the month-old iPhone 8

Electronics recycling site Decluttr.com says it has received more trade-ins of the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus than any other previous new iPhones. It appears that users lured by the new features of the coming iPhone X are trying to cash in on their iPhone 8 and 8 Plus while the value is still relatively high.

Idk is it SingTel got better coverage. Went to KK hospital visiting, my friend using OP5 with SingTel 4G, my iPhone 7+ with Starhub only get 3G when we stand like next to each other.

MRT tunnel exiting toward Red Hill too, my friend OP5 SingTel switch to 4G and mine 7+ with Starhub stuck with 3G and didn’t even know another friend WhatsApp me, in the end friend send sms to me ask me why I never reply.

M1 has better coverage of all telco. Those places i eent before that starhub singtel only 3g, m1 has 4g. Example keat hong , sungei gedong. And some places i forget, not only on army camps.

At least this year iPhone X all display is by the world best AMOLED manufacture Samsung. Like you said LG/Sharp come into AMOLED with the help from Apple perhaps from next year there will be a mix of LG/Sharp & Samsung.

By look at how awful the POLED from LG that is inside the Pixel 2 XL that have some sort of burn in and not as bright as Note8 display it kind of worrying.

Why worry so much? Whether it’s LG, sharp or some jobs manufacturers, Apple will ensure the most stringent QC to make sure all display quality are then same. So there is no need to worry who comes into the picture.

Pixel 2 XL uses the cheapest AMOLED from LG of cos they will have issues and Google QC is not the strongest too.

when you've been using the same size for 4 years (from 6plus) and now this size downgrade change? tho the screen is much-much the same.

Isn't it better?

To have a smaller foot print but roughly same display size as the plus.

A lot of people whom didn't want the physical size of the plus can now finally get a bigger screen.

That's the reason why my gf is looking to upgrade to the X.

OhM! the horizontal viewing size is really huge diff.

well there are people who will stick to 8Plus and just wait for X plus nxt year. but majority will want to have the spanking new iphone regardless of size. like u sed, learning curve..

Who got another round of cc charged by apple? Preorder i placed 1 64gb and 1 256gb, they charged me $3536 (SMS notification confirmation).

Just now received another SMS notification of a charge by apple of $1648. Called bank, bank advised call apple. Called apple, they say they are indeed the one charging but it is only holding amount. I do not remb last time got like that leh....

Exact same scenario as you, one 64gb and one 256gb ordered on 27th. Got charged once for the total amount on that day and charged $1648 today. *
