With the iX's capability to be charged with a charging pad, why do they have to place the notification light on the back of the phone? :(

My Note 5 has the notification light in front, so I can't help noticing the difference when both are charging. :s22:

The flash is only located behind the phone and at the same time also serves as a notification light for calls and messages so it has to be behind.

But the flash is bright enough to see even when placed a short distance away from the table top and set to low.

after unlocking the phone through face id we still need to swipe up to go to the home screen or there is an option where it will auto go to the home screen?

We still need to swipe up to go to the home screen.

That gesture was added because, sometimes we may be just looking or taking glances at the notifications, but not really wanting to unlock the phone.

Cause it is NOT MEANT to be used solely as a notification LED and it is a Camera Flash. IT is more for people who have hearing impairment whom cannot hear the tones from the device so the flash is the way to catch their attention.

There is a huge difference in the ones found on Android devices and this Quad-LED flash on the back of the iPhone X. This flash on the iPhone is meant to Illuminate objects behind it for low light photos which of course uses tons more power compared to the single colored and low powered LED on Android phones which only objective is to create a dim light.

My iphone 6, It had some issues like screen not responding and turning black totally turned off when the mobile backend is still running and hot. Only was able to on it back after doing a hard reset.

I had no choice but to sell it off to get this ipX but my initial plan was to wait till Oct but am afraid that by that time if my current hp spoils i could not sell for e same amt. Sigh

Sound more like your battery is dying under CPU load. What iOS version is that on?

Very confused, lots of conflicting information out there.

Does anyone know with certainty if iPhone purchased in Singapore will have warranty coverage in other countries like China?

Don't think so. Years ago I brought an iPhone 6 to a.lab for servicing and was told to bring back to country of origin.

Serious? I thought it was advertised that you can buy the iPhone with peace of mind, you’re able to get warranty related services across the globe with official Apple stores. I think you double check. Cause A.lab is different from official apple stores.

*just googled, seems that for iphone, is only valid in country of purchase.
