why use revolut when youtrip's withdrawal fee is only $5 per withdrawal?
Assuming u withdraw 20k NTD and its $5 withdrawal fee.... its only 0.56%?
Not sure it is true, i was told by one of my colleague actually for Youtrip withdrawal, it is $5 + $x? $5 charge from Youtrip card and $x from the bank you are withdrawing from?

Anyone can confirm?

This is something your fintech card cannot siam because its something outside their ecosystem

I can't find any Shanghai bank or Fubon bank Atm at the arrival hall, so I just use Bank of Taiwan Atm withdrawing 2 x 20k NTD. There are 2 bank of Taiwan atm and 1 mega atm

Just for info, the currency exchange at the arrival hall I noted exchange at 22.0x to 22.1 Friday evening around 8 pm+. Not sure now Change Alley what is the rate.

But still recommend using youtrip to withdraw money if you drawing close to NTD 20k. Atm can select English. Choose international card, then choose savings account. Very easy to use, just like using Atm in Singapore.

I'm thinking of withdrawing from the ATM in Taoyuan airport using the Youtrip card. Mastercard rates are much better than changing the money locally with at the money changers, (even after factoring in the SGD5 overseas ATM withdrawal fee).

Saw that Bank of Taiwan has ATM that allows maximum amount per transaction of NT$60,000, instead of the usual limit of NT$20,000 or NT$30,000.

Anyone knows where is this ATM located in the airport? I will be arriving at Terminal 2.

Couldn't find the ATM locator page on the Bank of Taiwan website.

I suppose you need a physical youtrip card to withdraw from the overseas atm?
how long does it take for the card to be delivered to you after application?

Or can use youtrip app (NFC) on phone to withdraw?

Just curious,

if such cards (amaze, youtip etc) can give such an attractive rate even after the handling fees (5 dollars right per transaction ?) and can be withdrawn most of the local banks teller
then seriously no point going to Money Exchange in the future ...
just hold a bit of cash when arrival for the initial part ...
