I use xe.com to check the rates. Megabank, bank of taiwan are free. Megabank atms can ve easily spotted in the airport.

so i guess it's really more worth it to withdraw there given the rate it dropped to now?

any cap to withdraw by the way?

I check using mastercard exchange
Now withdrawal should be better at 24.3 for today.

Use the cards to withdraw from the atm is more worthwhile. Dun use the exchange counters in the airport. Use Trust or amaze cards on the weekends to withdraw or pay as they dun have weekend tax.

wah that's very little

so if say swipe credit card, it would be same rate as withdraw?
If you're using TRUST card to withdraw from ATM, there is NO cap. You can draw as much as you want from your "savings account".
Take note NOT TO choose credit or other options except "savings account".

as for how to check the rate you're getting, I'll look at xe.com for a gauge, if rate seems ok, then i draw the minimum amount (twd100) first, so that trust app will pop up notification and i log in to check how much sgd being deducted. from here i can know exactly what is the rate I'm getting "today". then proceed to withdraw more.

yes, should be around the same rate BUT i think somehow there seems to be a bit of difference at different shops or when using uber.
anyway, it's still definitely much better than using money changer.
