just came back from taiwan

dont worry everyone, just change in taiwan at the airport. (some banks in taipei dont accept singapore dollars)

the few days i was there, rate varied from 22.3 to 22.33

money changers in singapore are just short-changing us.

even when i pay with credit card, the exchange rate was 22.0, comparable with many money changers.

yup i think so too!

just that changing at taoyuan airport is convenient when you reach taiwan. no extra trouble. better rate why not.

more of for pple who specially make their way down to chinatown or some other money changers which may be out of the way to change, transport cost and time incurred may not be worth it.

Just to add.. Change ur money at the airport.. Its quite hard to change once u reach the city, a number of banks do not accept sgd.

Bank of taiwan does.
