I had taken at New Horizon and was lucky to learn from one of their instructor Jeffery Foo.
He was good at pointing out what is to be learnt academically and actual work practices on project management.

was trained by him last year and passed at first try :D

I checked a few I think ProjectPro offers the best price. the lady said it includes everything for me. such as full training, pmi member, pmp exam and rita mulcahy bks.

I'll like to point out that including PMI membership in any packages by any providers is ILLEGAL if you are applying for CITREP.

yes...from IDA website:

Note: CITREP funding does not support GST, registration and membership fees, rebates, incentives, discounts or any training grants offered by the Course Providers, Testing Centres or any other organisations in relation to the endorsed courses and certifications.

wait in the end passed PMP yet cannot claim back 80%...

Actually there is only one. The Bras Basah one is supposed to be a temporarily center due to the overwhelming application for the test before Aug, if I am not wrong lah =X

I have maybe stupid questions to ask, for those who have gone through the test at Singapore prometric test centres, e.g. in Bras Basah or Jurong.

1. When I scheduled the exam first via PMI website, it says that the name must be EXACTLY the same as that on identificaton documents, else the candidate will not be admitted. As they go by western FirstName-Last-Name format, Tan Ah Teck will become Ah Teck Tan. To ensure that the name will match EXACTLY, on PMI website, I entered the format of Tan Ah Teck into the Last Name field, as they allow not to enter First Name. But when I signed in to Prometric website to book test date, the candidate name is shown as 'Not Provided Tan Ah Teck'.

Will they bar me from entering on the exam day? Must I explain this to the test officer on that day?

2. Also, is it true that wallet, watches, water bottle and jacket are all not allowed into the exam room?

Thanks in advance.

they are not so an*l about exact same names one lah. i just did my exam last week. my name also not 100% same as IC/Passport and PMI website. But as long as they can verify it is you sitting for the exam, its enuff.

And yes, no wallet, watches, no drinks, jackets. although some invigilators enforce it more than others.

good luck!!

How long do we have to wait for the exam? I intend to take it after I attended the prep course by ESI somewhere in June.

Hi

I am scheduled to take my PMP exam at Bras Basah (NTUC LearningHub) soon. I understand that we are not allowed to bring anything into the exam room and have to lock our belongings in the locker.

I went to the test centre for a recce; there is no locker facilities there, just rooms.

Any one who has taken exams there can share your experience?

Thanks.
