I feel the night isn't good enough, BlackVue would score better for night wise...

But the overheating and card hanging issue bring the score way down. Now i dont dare to sell DR400 already, too many problems.

But for OPC cars, getting a poor night recorder would seriously defeat the purpose..

i think the finevu quality is good enough. Moreover if OPC park under the hot sun ... might really have some issues as mentioned by XuiteShop.

Have purchased a finevu recently, will feedback if theres any issue =]

Here is a night time recording:

Video quality at night is quite noisy compared to DR400. But the DR400 is too unreliable for my liking.

The next model i am bringing in to test is itronics ITB 100HD, seems like the night quality is similar to blackvue dr400. Another top brand in korea.

the BV DR400 got heat issue. if u park under shade 24/7 then is ok. I had also just installed CR300.

without the polarized lens, video quality is good. with polarized lens, night video turns out very dark which is not good. I had removed the polarized lens since then.

which timing in the video do you see the lady? :D

Shouldn't affect your warranty. But don't take my word for it, best call up Cycle & Carriage to confirm. :)

Sorry for the late replies guys, do not wish to turn this thread into a sales thread. Those interested in getting can pm me. Next batch coming in 18 May 2012.
Cheers!

To those who have gotten their CR300 from us, please do not distribute the english firmware as its against our policy.
Thanks.

Just to share.

Recently changed my car camera (again!) to FineVu CR-300HD. :)

Here is a recording I took:

the video quite clear. for the jay walker there, think next time drive past must be more alert , especailly for the lady.

looks like bedok reservior road near the Blk 121 bus-stop.
