so u guys do feel itchy after using versa?
my wife complained the same thing as well. thinking how to solve this

Some people experienced rashes because of the band, others, like me, encountered problem with the watch sensor. If it's strap, just change it I suppose. If it's the watch itself (sensor area), don't wear watch too tight. May have to remove watch until rash goes away before putting it on again.

PS: I only experienced one episode of rash so far.

I think it important to charge the watch while at the same time let the area at your arm rest. I also feel wearing 24/7 causes some discomfort especially when it is moist from water etc.

Charging it everyday helps me get 100% and also a good chance to let that area breathe.

I know someone who does exactly that. He removes his Charge 2 before shower and charges his watch, then puts it on just before going to bed. Around 1-2 hour break per day for his skin.

Which local stall with promotion?

You cannot buy this at hawker centre or pasar malam yet, but ... Sorry, I cannot resist. :D

Seriously, you can buy this from major electrical shops like Best Denki, Challenger, Courts, Harvey Norman, etc, but unlikely to get any discount since it is still new. If you can get vouchers like CapitaMall voucher or Best Denki/Courts/Harvey Norman, etc, that is one way to offset the list price. If you are Challenger member, you can get $10 off, so $308. Otherwise, if you are comfortable with buying online, you can consider the following.

Based on the sharing here and what I know, I will try to summarise. Of course the usual disclaimer applies.

1. $238.50 is best price, offered by AIA Vitality ($318 with 25% off)
2. $252.10, Axtro Sports with Qoo10 $50 cart coupon (5% discount from $318 less $50)
3. $268, Parisilk with Qoo10 $50 cart coupon ($318-$50)

After this, the next best price is $272 and above, depending on what discount code you can get from Qoo10 and Lazada. I don't really shop at Lazada, so I cannot provide details. Hopefully you are more familiar. Today, I don't see any good discount codes from Qoo10, so you have to wait for promotion from Qoo10 or Lazada.

If you cannot wait, then SingTel has promotion until 5 May that is $288 ($318 - $30 after applying discount code STARWARS_FITBIT).

SingTel only offer Black Color. Thanks for your sharing.

OIC. Courts Online store has all colours now. They have 15% discount today only for 5 May with code DDS15. So $318 less 15% is $270.30.

PS: Web site say limited to 100 customers. I just tried and code was working.

To all those looking for Fitbit original straps, Prime Now Amazon International has listed the metal mesh (S$108+) and leather (S$67+) bands. The 30-day return policy should offer sufficient buyer protection. Search for “Fitbit Versa Band”.

I just received my Fitbit straps from Qoo10. Took more than 2 hours to swap them. Real pain as it is very difficult to lock the quick release pin in place. While struggling to push the strap in, all 3 buttons and the screen would respond to the slightest touch. Eventually, the watch was locked up (blocked!). To reactivate it, I had to use my phone to set the PIN for “Device Lock” again.

The quick release pin alone caused so much grief. I dropped it, lost it, found it then broke it and the spring popped out. After that I sacrificed another strap to transfer the pin over to my Milanese one. The entire strap swapping exercise consumed 14% of my watch battery.

Yes, you did prepare me mentally. Thanks. :) I could only fix one side of the strap. I had help with the other side. It was that bad. I also have no luck with the original Fitbit large strap.

Has your SE arrived? I am curious what you think of the woven strap, comfort level, look, etc.

I see the firmware update option this morning on my mobile app. Some Fitbit community users are saying battery life have improved. I’m keen on that so will try the update later.

Just use without case ba. It's an excuse to enjoy how the watch should be.
