Fitbit’s logistic chain in asean quite weak? (At least in sg). Been quite a while since the official available date and yet some editions or colors are still scarce while official accessories are non existence...
Any recommendation for source to get reliable straps?

Any recommendation for source to get reliable straps?

I ordered my straps from Qoo10 because I had to top up the cart to use the $30 coupon. The seller has not shipped yet. When I receive them, I will share my experience with changing the strap and the strap quality. cstanhwz is not so sure of the straps he bought. RocketBunny bought from Taobao but yet to receive.

I recommended the Milanese strap from China because we got somebody to buy for Charge 2 from Shen Zhen Hua Qiang Bei. It has a magnetic clasp and is very easy to wear and remove. Fitbit original mesh strap does not look magnetic.

Anyway I am happy with my black + rose gold milanese strap..
Good combi.

Where did you pick up your strap?

Just want to share that the battery drops from 100% to 99% very quickly because Fitbit uses "Floor" to display battery indicator. What is Floor?

Floor(99.99) = 99
Floor(99.5) = 99
Floor(99.1) = 99
Floor(99.0) = 99
Floor(98.9999) = 98

As you can see, Floor practically lops off the decimals. I found this out when I was creating a clock face. I did get the battery to stay at 100% slightly longer once. However, I have now decided it is safer not to overcharge the Fitbit Versa.

After I let my battery dropped to 0% and charged it back up, it seems to be doing better now. With Quick View off for 20 hours, I managed less than 15% of battery usage for the first day. It could be too early to call, given my battery plunged from 3% to 0% previously. We shall see.

PS: It is bad for lithium battery to have no charge. When I was draining my battery, I was watching it very closely, hence I managed to charge it within 15 minutes when it hit zero.

Received my strap from TB.. but feels kinda rough and doesn't match the black watch also. :s22:
Not sure if original feels the same or not tho..

Take note.. changing strap with the casing on is still a pain in the ass.. easiest way I feel is pull the lever and push the strap in after aim properly. Ugh

The silicon casing is good to have.

Just the casing with the original strap

And for SP (several pieces in a pack).. The one I got from TB is a film type which also fingerprint and oil magnet, lousy. Guess I'll make do for now.

Interesting point. Hmmm...

By the way, somebody at the Fitbit Community did comment the original woven strap is "scratchy". It seems to be the feature of woven straps.

Does the casing affect the reading of heart rate?

Sent from Live Long & Prosper using GAGT

I personally found the Fitbit sensor very strong when compared to Garmin. Within first few days, I had a rash, under the sensor. It was a skin bump like a bad mosquito bite. Never had that with Garmin. After that I wear my watch a little too loose, until I cannot sense notification vibration. Nevertheless, it still manages to track sleep, which requires heart rate data.

But let's wait for RocketBunny and others who have tried the case to feedback.

Anyone knows where I can the silver version?

Preferably at Capitalmall :D

Using your CapitaMall voucher? :)

You can try searching for "Best Denki Capitaland"or "Challenger Capitaland". There is one "Harvey Norman" at Bukit Panjang Plaza. Best Denki will pick up calls at the store if they are free. Maybe can even 'chope'.

I have tried Challenger main hotline, but never called their shops. From this thread and the various online stores, I think Challenger has highest priority in the Fitbit allocation. For example, Courts listed SE, but marked them as "Out of Stock". Challenger online store, on the other hand, had stocks for everything.

I also ordered from Qoo10. Next trip to China will get from Taobao.

The strap I was trying to change was the original strap. Change to the longer one. And yes, it was a PITA. Maybe my set issue or I not too skilled to change...lol

OIC. Thanks for clarifying. I didn't try with the spare strap since I wear my watch low. I ordered from a local seller but may not even receive on Wed. Likely to be PRC as funny seller said S size strap for small waist. :s13:

Good for you since you travel. Very convenient. :) Even people at Shen Zhen don't go to Hua Qiang Bei to buy things. Too big. Taobao is the preferred way.

Haven really tested the heartrate. Seems to be as normal.

Don't really like the L strap. Too much excess.. still using the default S one. Fits just nice.

hi thanks for the info much appreciated.
been using the versa for more than two weeks
now than able to adjusted it. :s22:
Why at first place they never add in at the
fitbit app to make easy for the user change
the hour format. This simple thing also they
cant add in their app. What a shame... :s11:

You can do that using web browser to log on to your account at
https://www.fitbit.com

After you log on, click on top right gear icon, and then Settings in the drop down list.

Nope. It's fits very nicely. Buttons still feels tactile. Hope have more 3rd parties cases coming out soon.

As for sweating.. still feels like normal ba. Don't feel any difference. Probably won't move around much now that the texture is abit diff

Edit: after few days with it. (when it's time to charge) I realised can't charge with the casing on :s22:

And dirt accumulates due to sweat also.. now i dont know wanna put case or not to put.

If put.. when wanna charge that time need remove the straps, then the casing. :spin:

You are most welcome. :) There are many privacy settings available at their web site, and I was also confused where to find those settings again, after I vaguely remember configuring them.

Fitbit is still losing money as a company. Their stock price is close to all time low now. I can understand why their priorities can go haywire. I do worry impatient investors would force them into the wrong areas, like those that would be useless to me. :( Or maybe charge me for things I care about, like Sleep history. They will be reporting their last quarter performance today and it should be bad, I think, because of poor Ionic sales. I am curious if Fitbit will hint at Versa sale performance.

More people buy means we can expect better things to come with our Versa purchase. For example, if they can figure out what to do with the SPO2 data they are collecting from us.
