Getting PC audio right can be very difficult
Maybe that's y all the music servers in the markets are at least 4 figures
Scary, I'm still using laptop as music source to DAC

It is very difficult. Even buying a 5 figure music server does not guarantee good sound.

Don't mean to scare you or make myself look like a nutcase on purpose, but for example - this morning I just spent some time to AB test a few different routers to see which makes my PC playback sound better (local playback and nothing to do with network). Yup.. routers.....

There is much that we still do not understand.

However, I think the potential is higher than that of CDP. Just a matter of time.

- Yes. You can only get the a brand new TG!334 via Jaben locally.

- The last RRP was $1899 when I asked. Not sure about now, as the price fluctuates according to the YEN currency exchange rate.

- The Parterre is the younger sister of the TG!334. Which I personally think it excels in Instrumental genre music.

- Currently FitEar has 3 Universal models in their lineup. The F111, Parterre & TG!334

Do the eartips hold up well over time?
Reason is, I've had an iem (forgot the brand) with a soft silicone eartip design similar to FitEar, and the tips always come loose and get dislodged inside my ear when i pull out the iem.
Very irritating.

Amongst the 3, which one do you think is best for EDM?
Do you have a spec comparison of all 3? Can't seem to find anything on their website.

The stock tips given are moderately good. But If you want a good silicone tip with comfort and good seal, you could try Ortofon eartips. I did a mass order not long ago and they are all sold out in a 2 short weeks. Pretty good responses yeah. Most users (whom I know) using fitear universals are using these eartips, even before I did the mass order.

Out of the 3, I would recommend the TG334 for EDM genre. It excels in the mids, an impactful bass and a slightly laid back minimal-sibiliant treble.

I would urge you to audition them before deciding. You can head over to Jaben to try the F111 & Parterre. For the TG334, I'm not sure if they have stocks for audition. But there is quite an amount of TG334 owners in this forums. Perhaps you could contact one of them for a hearing session?

Yes in terms of pricing TG334>Parterre>F111 (You will have to enquire with Jaben regarding the updated pricing of them.)

Accessories wise, all models includes a set of different sized stock eartips, earwax removal tool and a warranty paperwork. The F111 is packed solely in a cloth pouch. Whereas the Parterre and TG334 is packed in a cloth pouch, following by a pelican 1010 case.

There is also a fitear zipper case for purchase. But there is currently no stock for it via Jaben.

Have to enquire regarding change in shape of your ear. But It's a no no to give it to someone else. (Cannot be reshelled for someone else's ears)

P/S. FitEar customs cannot be reshelled as it is filled with acrylic. Therefore it is not possible to salvage the drivers via 3rd party reshelling companies.

Got it, thanks. I'm wondering if that's a reason why they won't make a CIEM into a universal..

Still liking my F111 even though it's not the best.. still hoping they would make a 435 universal.


Anyway, I've been listening to my F111 at work with a standard ipod and thought it's quite decent. While listening to my main rig, I decided to plug it in for fun, and what a difference I heard.. reminds me I should continue my search for a better DAP.

I also started to feel curious what the 435 will sound like here, but better not to imagine too much.
