boh hoot. cos i peasant. such iem will be unbefitting of my status. i contemplated hard. it is better than my fx700 but not a lot a lot better. if it cost abt $500-700 i would not had hesistated, but for that amount, i feel that i'm spoiling myself. i had 5 mp3 players and 4 iems liao, and i madcap amp. whether or not to buy vorzuege for RWAK100... i left the temptation under my blanket...

my music type is quite different from the others who listen to spanish harlem and teresa teng, hence i cant rely a lot on opinions from the others. i dunno how to describe the music type i listen, but i need a certain amount of bass but not too much.

for the following type of music, how would u described/classify it? am i a bass head? am i not? but the only thing i know is it is probably closer to american than to japanese or chinese.

some like to listen on bassy gear.

JVC victor FX700 - my current favorite$$
TDK BA200 - put at home. use when napping $$
audiotechnica CKW-1000 ANV - my backup to Fx700 if it fails$$

sansa zip - good and warm, but no depth. $
cowon j3 - good but not warm enough, need to tune very troublesome (i thinking giving to my sis)$
sony z - good but heavy$$
sony f - at first disappointed, until i take away the shure connector.$$
rwak100 - fantastic for vocals only, not so for my other genre, like FA eterna, this device makes the music a little brighter and less warm for my taste.$$$$

have u tried the sony? that u no need to eat grass.

not among the "audiophile" and sounding very commercial, they are quite all rounders. i like both sony F and RWAK100 for different music types. but RWAK100 is a little cold and i dunno if i amp am i wasting money again. i carry a shoulder bag around and so an extra small amp is fine.

i think i really only overspent for the ak100. but the form factor is so.... ommmpphhh... beautiful. sony f is also nice but it just lacks two stupid button forward and backward.

i bought it to make myself feel more elite toh. after that no more too expensive gear liao... have to be more careful with spending.

u can dl playerpro apps to do make the volume button skip songs for walkman F.
i had it but no more liao.
now using dx100.
buy a alo mk3b or intruder. definitely much better

but much better than vorzuge.
vorzuge is now considered tier 2 stuff for me

Heard Fx700 bass more elite than Merlin and jh16 , ish it true ? feel like hooting if its damn good , quite a reasonable price though .

U go Japan and buy FAD, much much cheaper..................

Heard it's 30 to 40% cheaper as claimed by one customer through mouth of a SA in Stereo........................
