I bought the headphone book quite early back in 2011, threw away the box packaging long ago since the free earbuds are just encased in a plastic packaging, not packaged in those nice boxes like the ones that u usually see comes with the usual PF/heaven series. I can't rem exactly whether the model is called PF1's or PF II, I only know based on past article coverages reported by AV Impress Watch/Phileweb, all 3 models share the same driver (15.5mm CCAW dynamic) with e same kind of plastic enclosure housing/designs as seen also in this blog article review.

According to the above japanese reviewer, I believe there is no change in their SQ signature description so they prolly sound the same as well though I had nv actually listen to the FI-DC1550 series for myself, as I found their design to be boring/unenticing last time and back since 2009/2010, I alrdy have my own fair share of earbud listening experiences especially with my very own pair of the CM700Ti's, as well as the Yuin PK/Ninewaves Studio series which are all very well-regarded dynamic earbuds out there avail on the market for quite sometime alrdy.

Uh nope, the free FAD earbuds bundled with the headphone mook has no indication or label markings of where its made from, at the back column of the plastic box it just says designed by Final Audio Design. But I did recalled personally on the retail boxes for the FI-DC1550 (PF IIs), at the back it is indeed written as made in Philippines. The headphone book sold by CD Journal costs only 2000 yen, you expect something this cheap to be MIJ? Haha you ish wait nong nong lor.
:s13:

With the exception of heaven IV as well as some Adagio series, IIRC the rest of e heaven series/FI-BA-SS and Piano Forte VIII/IX/X series are all made in Japan so far, with their drivers properly hand-matched and tuned individually to minimise L/R channel mismatching, something like what Etymotics are doing only for their ER4 series and Sony's are also doing this too with their higher-end EX monitor series (not XBA series though).

That's pretty much what I know regarding FAD and their line-up production/product history so far.
:o

Wait for someone else to hoot and give moar impressions, that one ish can wait. :(:(
I only rem so far 1 hwzoner has it, maybe next time got chance will ask him out see can audition first anot with my customised tips try get an idea ard the signature first, b4 plunking down so much cash for a pair of customs.
:vijayadmin:

I believe they are all the same and made in the same country, just different colors. Hahaha. I should still find one to play with.

Is it better than AK120 or DX100 ?

To me it's better than ak120 and dx100...

Harbeth can range from $2800 (P3ESR) to $3998 (Compact 7) to $4998 (Super 5) to $13000 (Monitor 40.1).

Real scary, but they sound amazingly natural.
Nothing stands out on first listen, but the sense of timbre and naturalism is amazing.

Other speakers wow on first impression with bass, clarity or musicality.
But Harbeths just sound so.. Right, for the lack of a better word.

What's the diff between them?

Guangong unker going for which huan?

Yeah most probably. :)

Uh the CD Journal headphone book 2011 issue was rather quite an old issue, alrdy out of print for quite sometime since 2011 liaos. Honestly doubt u r able to find a brand new copy out there now. Latest issue now is 2013 edition released since this yr March, I purchased a copy for this too as there were some pretty interesting ACG/seiyuu vocalists feature inside and also some in-depth coverage regarding FAD's latest Pandora headphone series.

To me it's better than ak120 and dx100...

Lol ewng spreading poison sia. Still waiting for iRiver to come out AK120 red edition, if by the end of this yr still nv come out then most likely just skip over liao, look for some other alternatives ard since while i'm currently satisfied with the Walkman Z, i would still prefer something smaller and hopefully is able to drive both iems/portable cans well enough as I would like to keep to single DAP device alone instead of carrying DAP+amp combo.

TG334 is the universal of MH334 I presumed ?

Funny why that uncle using the MH334 told me :
"If u feel the bass of the 335 is too much, then the 334 is even more"

Just wondering it's the bass of the 334 too excess even more than the 335...........................:s8:

But looked like a lot of elite here audited is neutral..................:s11:

Weng bully me agn....wtf the CK100Pro's are just an innocent bystander leh, nth to do with this topic at all.
:sad::sad:

ewng bro just received his pair of EX800st just in June, how can it become a lemon set so fast, not unless he abuse it. Burning in earphones/headphone rly seldom will damage a pair of headphones one, went through quite some rigorous burning in procedures for my past headphones at diff lvls of volume at diff stages, all also nv encounter driver failures before.

But if his pair of EX800st's really got driver issue, i think its consider gg sia cause in JP, since the EX800st are marketed by SMCI instead of Sony JP, there are actually no valid warranty coverages through SMCI since when SMCI released this product, they announced it as for industry/professional use and thus all repairs related to this model along with the CD900st model, are all considered out-of-warranty repairs and thus the owner is responsible for whatever the costs that's involved in order to RMA/repair this pair of iem.

TG334 the bass is solid and punchy...super addicted... :D

Haonan bro...dun think it's driver issue...more like tuning issue to me...
It sounds beautifully most of the time...only got a irritating response to certain frequencies...
Maybe my ears got problem too... :o

aiya no need so serious reply half wall of text :D

anyway seriously speaking :s13:, you really have a very high preference and tolerance. i tried ck100pro again recently at jaben just to refresh memory. cannot take it. the tings and zings are piercing me like 300 arrows too :s13:

haven heard the 800st but can just try to extrapolate from my 600 and 1000. and i can imagine... if 800 you feel the least bit of sibilant, then something must be wrong :D

for my tolerance level, 600 is muddling the line. 1000 is better although some transients also pushing the limit. in a sibilance-to-my-ears scale of 1 to 10, if 600 is 7, 1000 is 5, then ck100pro is 20 :s13:

shiit... i just replied half a wall too :s13:
