Boredom and stagnation is setting in; there is constant unhappiness with the present (although we've gone a long way and the world is still always slightly better and more comfortable than before) and we all could look inside ourselves and see what is it that is still missing. I'm guessing that despite wars and doomsday market predictions abound, it sounds like a stagnation (albeit still very depressive mood) year with markets maintaining at a low and swinging side ways to nowhere.

The world's response here: going with this nihilistic meaningless flow. Again the state of stagnancy is prevalent here. The world's ambition and motivation is lost. Much work done is simply to go with the status quo; new tech and products are released for the sake of releasing something new annually; money flows in the most conservative manner. There is generally no joy in everyone's work, a mindless grinding to work for the sake of it. Pretty much a response to the situation.

And the outcome of 2024 - I'll just try my luck and go with optimism on this: reconciliation.
