meaning I can just set up $50/mth RSP for 10 ETFs and i won't be charged any commission for the next 6 mths, except for exchange related fees/ GST right?

Normal, i remember mine took few hours to get it approved.

actually since they have this auto convert feature, they should also enable the investment amount to be taken in SGD which makes things even more simplified.

example: user can invest S$1k in a counter then they auto convert to USD. from there, the number of units can be purchased accordingly

recently i just setup rsp one us etf, system let me key in amount with sg dollar. so i also use sg cash account

Ya why not.

When you buy via FSM it will go to their custodian account not CDP
