My S7020 is less than a yr old. I am already experience some problems.
1. When i run a CD, the CD-Rom drive runs very loudly and i can hear some vibrating loud sound.
2. Some times my Realtek Sound manager fail to start up and when i have my earphone plucked in, it could not detect at all.

Thanks a lot.

Please charge it for 8 to 12 hours for the first time.

Every 3 months, please discharge it fully and recharge it up another 8 to 12 hours.

Try using Hibernation mode instead. It is a lot better and faster than Standby or Shutdown mode.
It will save all the settings and restore back to the point where all your files are opened...

the rest are the same, think all can bargin to have 1G RAM.

which is faster? and which one is better for the price? i'm only a casual gamer. occasionally play games like civilization or wow... the 3D effect is not that important to me.

but i heard windows vista would need pretty good graphic card. so i need to consider o/s upgrade in future.

my laptop 7020 got some internal stain.. 2 dark patches and noticed about 3-4 dead pixels
went to nus IT-coop last week, the guy cant figure out wat the stains are, suspect is due to stress when open/close flip.. i told him but the stains/patches are at bottom part of the screen, more filmsy part should be upper part mah.. :s then he say those 3-4 black spots are not dead pixels cos usually dead pixels are very bright spots under blue screen, he never see black ones before :s
he say he will change the LCD for me but if got dead pixels, i have to accept it.. where got this type of service one.. Industry standard 7 dead pixels then can exchange...
Do u think if i send to Taka service centre will be better? :s8:
so sad.. only bought the laptop last dec.. not even 6mth old

Hi,

I was wondering whether has anyone tried to change their fujitsu notebook harddisk before? Not at the service centre, but buy 2.5" harddisk from shops like SLS and change it yourself? I just need to confirm that normal 2.5" harddisk will fit in to the laptop.. hehe.. just worried that after I buy the notebook harddisk then discover that fujitsu notebook need special harddisk pin to go with it..

Thanks!

Taka service center has been relocated to Funan Centre level 5 anyway. You may want to try your luck over there.
