Hi,
Make sure the settings is line in and not mic in. I know its weird, but my mic only work after i change the setting to line in instead of mic in. This option in available in the windows sound control

hi guys,
how do i adjust contrast on my 7021 fujitsu laptop? can only find contrast keys ...

Use Fn + F8 for brightness down
Use Fn + F9 for brightness up.

As for contrast control, it is back in DSTN LCD technology. You can't fin dit in the new notebook.

What is the model of Hard disk used in S7020?
I bought this notebook last yr and have had the HD changed once due to some problems.
The current one Im using runs much hotter than the previous one and I've checked that the RPM of this HD is not 5400.
And I strongly suspect that the current one was not a barnd new one before being installed in my lappy.
Pls help

In the first place, is your machine HDD running 5400? No all latest notebook is running 5400 HDD. By default a faster HDD should create more heat than less.

any software that is able to detect the cpu temp? (hdd temp can detect)

i tried speedfan / notebook hardware control and quite a number of softwares, but somehow unable to detect. or is there no hardware sensor in the first place?

There are thermo sensor to turn on the fan whenever the system heat up.

Most of the software in the market is not mean for notebook, or notebook is not built like normal PC Mainboard.

My HD model is Hitachi_DK23FA-60,have checked on the website,some say its 4200ppm,some say its 7200 ppm, have no idea which one is the correct speed.

and I like to ask about the mini S video output plug behind the laptop..


Can I say play a vcd using window media player and connect it to any tv,eg hotel tv with the red yellow RCA input and view the movie from the movie?

I went SLS and search,no one selling mini S video plug out to RCA cable leh..
only got sell S Video output which is for PS2.....where to buy mine required cable?

do I need to press any special button to activate it?eg press"FN + F10 " or do I need to download special software such as TV Wizard? where to donload if any?

It depends on your tv, most tv do not support s video to rca, but you can find a few though. It's usually s-video to s-video. Only the newer tv have s-video connectivity, the ancient ones you can forget abt it. You can buy a vga converter unit to RCA if you need RCA output. No need software, just fn+f11 for my laptop... looks good gaming on a large LCD TV... hahah.

Do you have a CD inside your CD-ROM?

T4010 user here. I have this problem such that the hard disk or the fan keep getting louder, louder, and I feel vibrations on the keyboard, and it keeps increasing speed and volume and suddenly the noise would stop, and so would the vibrations.

Wierd? Is my poor HDD wearing out soon?

What is the other pcs of the RAM in the machine?

If you want dual channel, you need to match the RAM.

Please do not buy any mini S-video cable from SLS. It will not work. Please go to Fujitsu reseller and order from them. It should be SGD 68 or 69.
