Actually it applies to all notebooks. All brands of notebook comes with a dead pixel policies unless stated. Some companies comes with minimun of 3 but i think most comes with 7.mercuryz said:I just bought a 7020 H2 from Sim Lim and later discovered 1 dead pixel. Called the shop and they pushed it to the svc cntr. Svc cntr says they won't do a thing cause its in the <7 pixel range.
I'm not being fussy but the shop did say anything wrong within first 3 days can get an exchanged. What pisses me is they didn't clarify.
Has anyone had any experience on this? Or am I stuck with this Laptop? Damn should have bought a Dell!
Thanks to all for advice

Don't worry, if you read carefully... its stated voluntary replacement. Which means no problem with those model of notebook but they are changing it for good.alamak said:
yeh... you are rite man.miltongoh said:I think it is no harm changing but I guess if the issues is really that great, then Fujitsu will do a recall project rather than a voluntary exchange program.IMO.
You can send your notebook to the service center... i think they will do a change for you since they have this voluntary battery exchange program.bh0322 said:As for precaution, I think its better to change to a new one. Ha ha, nyone knows where we can ask for a replacement?

I think for your case the LCD may not be that expensive lah... should be less than 1k. But I think its best to give them a call to confirm the pricing.darkrain02 said:Hi there!
