Anyone using AOKP M4 with franco M1?

With this combination, I seem to have alot of bugs compared to my previous AOKP B23 with franco 17.2.

My first overnight battery drain was 20% over 7hrs. Then my setting--> battery---> Android OS option went haywire showing CPU total with 254d 14hr ++. Then the phone seems to lag most of the time in which I have never experience before in AOKP B23 with Franco 17.2. (Forgot to take screenshot of the CPU usage as I panic and went to reflash)

Then now using AOKP M4 with stock kernel, manage to get more than 3 hrs with a heavier usage than normal. This seems to be supported by some online forum comments that stock kernel is good enough. Guys, what are your experience with AOKP M4 with Franco 17.2?

I got some issues too. On aokp b26 Franco kernel ms1. My on screen time reduced to like 1hr 30+ mins as compared to when I was on stock, it was around 2hr 40+ mins

The menu would be his paid app name Franco Kernel Updater from Play store..

With that den u can enable usb fast charge but with that enabled, ur device wont be connected in MTP mode..

Hey, anyone has this problem of mms being unable to send? I am a star hub user. Every tine I try to send a mms, I immediately lose network and the phone will start to re connect to it immediately, but the mms will still not be sent.. I never check when will the mms be sent but the next day when I check back the mms status, it appears as sent. I have tried sending mms with goSMS and the stock messeaging app. Both cannot send.

I rooted my phone but this problem occurred even before I rooted my phone.I have not flashed any custom roms yet cause I want to try out the 'original' build first. Anyone have same problem as me? Is this a phone problem or star hub problem?

Or do you think rooting may be the cause of this problem? I want to flash aokp rom soon but hope to resolve this problem before flashing.

you need not to buy the app. you can just download emulator and on the force charge itself. but yeah, wuth usb fast charge enable, you wont be connected in MTP Mode.

GLaDOS's touchwake feature is very useful for me, especially considering that the Galaxy Nexus has no physical home button to press when screen time out. Got the app as I was too lazy to play with startup scripts ;)

i also using glados and the touchwake. init.d scripts are confusing at first but once u get the hang of it, it's a piece of cake.

For some ROMs, I saw that they mentioned full wipe. So what is full wipe? Is it wiping cache, davlik and data/factory reset only?

do not know well how to do backup and restore...so feel so scare to wipe it... :s13:

You already rooted ur phone and installed Clockworkmod right??

Can back up the whole phone using the Backup/Restore function available before u flash the rom..

Anything goes wrong, u can just restore ur backup.
