May be that your IMEI is not in the current batch of OTA yet....

Check XDA can get root on kk but need to update bootloader in the middle of flashing. After that cannot re-root/unroot and root again.

previously my phone gets to infinite boot loop, and was send to Samsung for replacement of the motherboard and the 'salescode' was set to 'OLB'. I can't update anything tru KIES 3 when there was a firmware release of Build in December.


So i use the code to change to 'SIN', but when KitKat was released, I can't update to it, then I had to use the code again to change to 'XSP', in which I was able to update to KitKat.


Word of caution, using the code will format your phone. As will it flag the knox, I am not sure...

infinite boot loop and change mb ... exactly same as mine! My salescode also kena changed after back from sung hospital Previously Note1 kena Malaysia code ... now Note 3 kena further away, Philippines! kekeke.

This is why I mentioned to check/share salescode

I got the phone during Singtel launch, and 2 months later it went to infinite boot loop... further more I never send the warranty card and at that time, online warranty did not update the phone database to Note 3. Think Samsung use the launch day as the date of purchase.

note 3 in trouble after 4.4.2 update

hi

updated my note 3 accordingly but after it installee and reboots the phone cannot start.. it keeps repeating the words 'Samsung galaxy note 3' as though trying to start the phone but can't.

Anyone can help? Should I go bk to Samsung customer service for help?

Not for me. It's okay before and after KK.

In fact, you should switch off the "Stabilization" in the camera setting and you will see that the word "Processing..." will be gone after taking a shot, and that taking shots will be very fast!

The "Stabilization" is not to counter the camera shake but it is to allow more light during night for dark / night shoots only. It's kind of misleading on that part from Samsung!

Try it.

You can install other launcher (Example: Nova) n switch between Touchwiz (Samsung default) and your installed launchers.

For SMS, you can choose Messaging (Samsung default) or Hangout (Google default or preferred).
