I would like to share my experience regarding the 'sleeping beauty' issue that I've experienced on my Note 5 64gb Gold. My set was from M1, bought during launch day.

Changed from MM1 CSC to XSP CSC and did a couple of factory resets and wipe cache partition but still experiencing the 'sleeping beauty' issue like once a day or once every few days, though not really a problem for me.

As my usual habit, I decided to disabled some apps which I deem useless for my usage and so far I have not encounter the 'sleeping beauty' issue for the past 2 to 3 weeks. Below is the list of apps that I have disabled but I cannot confirm nor pinpoint exactly which specific app is the culprit for this issue. Hope this helps.

Perhaps only locals complaining.. hahas.. but then again, I gotta admit the firmware is a bit buggy.. I had some episodic lag-Ness. . But spontaneously resolved.. so I can't complain much comparing to peeps having 10s of sleep issue..

Who came out with the sleeping beauty syndrome? Creative sia..

Doesn't work for me though I disabled almost all of the apps u listed.

Tried all the suggested solutions but the sleep issue still appear every other day. Don't know if I should invest to buy another case for N5 or just sell off this phone altogether.

So I probably think my sleeping issue is due to the transition from 4G to wifi when I'm predominantly on WiFi when at home .

It's like this ; I have set my wifi settings on my Note5 to not continually scan for wifi even when my phone is idle . So it just goes into 4G when I lock it or when it's idle. So I'm guessing when it is idle for awhile and in 4G mode and when I wake it , which means it has to revert to wifi again, this causes that sleeping beauty mode for me.

This happens only when my phone is idle for a few hours . Has never happened to me if I turned off wifi completely.

For my case, not turning on WiFi at all (and all the WiFi-related options) and just use 4G connection will also experience sleeping beauty...

It is puzzling as it seems literally nothing can prevent sleeping beauty... or at least all the suggestions/opinion listed in this thread have all not successfully remove sleeping beauty...
