ok i saw got the below 2 fw :
N920IDVU1AOH6 - H6 newer
N920IDVU1AOH2 - H2

Maybe u all can advise ... Settings>System>About ... Build number
H6 - sleeper
H2 - ok ???

if H2 all clear, 2moro i go get mine

Well, if all the H6 firmware are sleepers (which it seems to be the case for now), then H2 firmware are most probably the non-sleepers, fingers-crossed...


You can flash firmware using Kies if the firmware is the official ones from Samsung. No need to use Odin.

ive gone one step further and flashed the australian H2 firmware....lets see how it goes....if its good, i'll flash the H2 SG Firmware onto my wife's set

My 64gb is on h6 and has the sleeper. I have another 32gb that has upgraded to h6 like 3 days ago but never experience any sleeper issues before n after the update.the 32gb is using the s view cover with the nfc chip to wake the phone.

Flashing official firmware = knox not getting tripped = warranty intact

However, if u don't know what you are doing, don't do it

sammobile houses the official firmware from samsung. what sammobile does is that it pulls the official firmware from the samsung server and store them on their own server, then charge you for the service. of cos you can choose to download free, but the terrible download speed will probably let you spend 6 hours or more downloading a 1-2gb worth of firmware.

however if you choose to flash the firmware out of your own region, then you phone might be bricked and service centre can simply charge you for the repair..

Sleeping beauty is still present but I haven't done a reformat, this is a dirty flash. Will try a full system cleanse and update u guys again

Try this.

Go to settings-application-application manager
Under application manager, scroll to "all" on the right

Find touchwiz easy and touchwiz home. Clear data and clear cache. That's it.

Nope already tried that last week.....did not work.......but frequency of wake up lag reduce from 2 to 3 times a day to 2 to 3 times a week......

Did you clear cache partition after doing that?

Yes......many times in recovery mode.....also did x2 factory resets........still kena

technically, once you do a factory reset, no need to clear cache already..

anyone tried different themes? maybe its the theme..
