Curious, but for the ruling party, where do the funds for the election deposit come from? Like legit curious.

Dr csj and SDP also just give us pamphlet in bbc smc.

Cost of living as top priority.

After today receive pap clementi jurong town council what murali have done.

Merge with yuhua die. Yuhua pap supporters very strong and hardcore one. I lived here for decades and I saw them gather in huge group in the early 90s before

Can see Dr Chee sure contest for jurong to batok GRC

Don't disagree, but just wondering if PAP themselves set aside funds or issit really put of pocket from the lead.

I would think it's the former, but really no idea.

Like we are seeing fundraiser events/dinner for Chee and PSP. WP I also dunno how.

think should be those with political positions might have to contribute depending on salaries?

Yes SDP has been contesting in Yuhua since GE2011 and each time they get around 30% at most. That area is very pro PAP and it may negate any gains that Dr Chee made in Bukit Batok.

Perhaps it would be better for Dr Chee to switch to Bukit Gombak SMC instead.

The will of the people should not be redraw easily agree? If the last election results is one only won less than 55% then the boundaries should not be redraw. The smc or grc should retain for next GE challenge agree?

Example1

Ridout SMC result for last election is 53% vs 45% for 2 way fight.

As such due insufficient mandate for boundaries redraw which is at least 55% to meet, the SMC boundaries shall remain for next GE.

Example2

Ridout GRC result for last election is 60% vs 35% for 2 way fight.

Due overwhelming mandate of over 55%. The GRC boundaries can be redraw for next GE.

By maintaining such mandate percentage, it will ensure fairness for GE challenges.

Redraw of boundaries can only happen when there's overwhelming mandate which is above 55%

There's a reason why people keep spending years to import new talents and filter out the unnecessary noises

Just like casino, Its all about diluting and making sure the house always win
Its ok to import new citizens. But the redraw of the boundaries should only happen when they achieved more than 55% of the winning

iirc, the mps will set aside part of their allowance for events etc to the party. there are also fund raising activites. you can join as pap member for $9 a year too if you want. (typo errror)

steady grc where need to redraw. its the ones that have potential to sway the other side that is worrying.

60.x%...with the latest redrawing, i think maybe can get 65-67%. if they win sk, maybe 69%.

unless for some reason, all those who receive cdc vouchers understand that it is temporary and GST increase is permanent, unlikely to fall to 55%. at worse is 58%.
