You don't even know what u're missing out.

Singapore is like a cutthroat Forbes 500 company.. everyone admires it from the outside.. But inside, the employees are suffering. Those that stay on are climatised and brainwashed.

If singapore is so great, so liveable, then why don't the EU, AU, USA, mainly white people migrate here during the lax immigration laws in 2000 to 2010 and flood the country? Free SPGs somemore. There is a reason... quality of life.

Instead we only get mostly 3rd world migrants, who btw, treat Spore as a stepping stone. Many new citizens PRCs didn't even renounce their citizenship to china, because china didn't allow it for many years

*u gonna qoute the small % of AMDK with 50-100k salaries that makes spore, (or 99% of any country actually) bearable to them. But if u take that away lets see how long they stay, if singapore is so great.

Im have been to many other countries and dun feel like im missing anything.

I am aligned with the view that SG needs to remain competitive in order to survive and thrive. I dun need wat kampong culture lol.

It is funny u mention MNCs. Based on edmw threads, many SMEs having 0% increment seem to be a major contributor to sibkie unhappiness.

they like to ord someday at 40++ after attain general rank and hope pap will give them a shot at civillian life either in politics or a cushy post in stat boards

pap knew this, right from the beginning when saf is being formed, and giving generals cushy civillian jobs have the benefit of preventing saf generals being too powerful in the armed forces and attempting a coup

that will not be good in sg...

LKY and TCC anticipated it and has informally written it into a policy when hiring saf skolars, who eventually went on to becum generals

U see TSL, working to get more foreigners in, obscuring important information .. making the situation worse for singaporeans

DO NOT UNNECESSARILY INCREASE TAX like GST. Now have surplus of 6b on the backs of suffering citizens. This shows poor planning. WIth this surplus, the govt should cut certain taxes, especially on the bottom 50%. But they continue to increase instead!​

what Trump wan is people to go negotiate with him.. he has a time limits cause American will realize that their cost of living will tripled or 10 folds.. no more cheap made in China or made in Vietnam stuff in American.. no more 3 dollars red wines from Australia.. mass protest is happening in US as we speak.. what can EU do and major Asian economy do? they counter tariffs and let American implode.. even Elon musk is not supporting his policy as it hurt his tesla biz with cheap parts from Asian

1) I would stop profligate spending on PAP, reduce their million dollar salary and stop the founders memorial nonsense. They should spend within their means.. Why should we sponsor their swiss lifestyle ? They are paid more than Powell of the FED who control the worlds economy.

2) Stop the mayors , aren't you against using the reserves ? But u ok with spending reserves on the redundant mayors ?

I agree mayors are redundant. The healthcare spendibg lvl needs to be cut by privatising healthcare.

Again im happy to vote for oppo if u can point me to a party that advocates economic growth, prudent mgmt of reserves, cutting social spending to significantly reduce taxes without touching reserves.
