CSJ competes in Sembawang, the north of singapore that is filled with citizens that has close ties with Malaysia and demographics with spouses from Malaysia and China moved from the industrial west to Sembawang BTOs back in the days more than 20 years ago.

the demographics has changed with many residents in the north not wanting to rock their boat so they can retire in bolehland or have enough jobs and contracts given out by pappies and their crony companies.

TCB still trying to play a gentleman's game in politics. You can't do that in the modern era. Each loss will discourage their future talent pool from joining PSP.

it's not about gentleman's game or what, TCB should contest in SMC in 2020, it would be an easy entrance to parliament for him. Then he can establish the foundation of PSP from there. GRC level elections are on different levels of difficulty. I never expect any party in SG to win a GRC without any prior experience in managing a constituency.

The demographic indeed is very disadvantage towards them especially those redrawn boundaries and last min publish..

His Sembawang West SMC definitely will get gerrymandered one. SDP only 1 SMC got above 40%.

WP got 40% across many GRC/SMCs of the East, so gerrymandering will affect them lesser.
Even Pasir Ris - Changi GRC, got Indranee SDA still managed to get 33%.
WP need to consistently recruit the best candidates available and focus their firepower on the East.

PSP need to regroup liao, at least they managed to get 40% in WC-JE GRC despite the heavy gerrymandering.
LHY effect no longer there, plus most of the candidates they fielded in the GE 2020 rather help out at the back.

This is the assist they got for this election.
The winning percentage is unusually high when there are so much unhappiness.

so based on the above info, they know where they live, so can draw the boundaries to pappies' advantage

2020 west coast GRC majority is the higher ses voters, after that they cut away 20k high ses voters and give 40k low ses jurong voters to west coast to gun down psp. After I see the boundaries redraw until so ridiculous... I think that's the end for psp already. Jurong area voters is impossible to win for opp.
