This is the assist they got for this election.
The winning percentage is unusually high when there are so much unhappiness.
Or the one unhappy are the one making the most noise and they are not the majority.
Some of the unhappy ones probably overseas and didn't vote.

2020 west coast GRC majority is the higher ses voters, after that they cut away 20k high ses voters and give 40k low ses jurong voters to west coast to gun down psp. After I see the boundaries redraw until so ridiculous... I think that's the end for psp already. Jurong area voters is impossible to win for opp.

that's right

mandatory voting means country is ruled by mandate of the daft, low ses and apolitical majority.

Mandate higher than 2020 aside from that can’t be all totally new citizen votes. Westsiders just really love PAP. Look at JE-BB and Gombak %

gombak is outlier. many private estates. hdb probably is half half. that explains the high winning rate.
the ones who we really shld blame for no oppo advancement is Tampines and punggol. they had a fighting Chance. but they have failed all Singaporeans. West side is always slim chance after they redrawn the boundary and broke up psp support base. so it was expected.

PSP can just disband or have TCB retire and focus on one small SMC first with help from local towkays and influenzas, otherwise, difficult to shake off as a pensioner party image, and hard for young blood to join.

PSP will walk the NSP path. A bright spark (NS) and thereafter dim into the dark. Soon PSP will just be another shortform in the memory of Singaporeans. "PSP? That party that TCB started because he not happi with PAP huh'.

They seem to focus too much on TCB. Not sure why he arrived late at the last rally like VIP when he is one of the candidates.

thanks

need to see if @charleslee1989 agrees with what I say.

No issue. Charles will agree. :s13:

PSP needs a strong younger leader.

TCB, LMW, and Hazel can retire to the background after they have found the one.

History is never wrong. You look at 倚天屠龙记, the leader is always the strongest and youngest. Then those old leaders will retire to 桃花岛 or something.

PSP needs to look for their Pritam equivalent.

They seem to focus too much on TCB. Not sure why he arrived late at the last rally like VIP when he is one of the candidates.

sinkies don't realise that it cost PSP a few hundred thousand dollars or more to run this campaign
and the money came from well wishers and their own pockets

all these just to give sinkies an alternative voice in parliament,
which they scorned

I agree with ts that PSP probably won't be around after this,
a big Thanks to them and good luck the rest of the daft !

Actually, if you think about it, where got so nice: 60-40, and so nice: almost 10% jump in WC-JW and CCK. What “wrong” did PSP do that they have been “punished” until like that?

The numbers may be just anyhow made up.

This is really just about enjoying the election process: nomination day, rallies, voting at the polling station.

Somehow, also can tell that PSP was actually not serious in wanting to win, that’s why send in all the elderly people with no young people. (Ya, that’s the “wrong” that they did.)

So well, life goes on. PSP really betrayed everyone to think that they were serious. Then maybe the government realised cannot let the opposition share increase (because last week suddenly got Malaysia PAS involvement and Malaysia military training at Southern Johor), that’s why… ya.

Honestly, you really think the numbers are real ah? They probably made it up, it’s all internally decided one. The polling was just for show. (At least, let me have this theory to console myself please.)

(Like, where got so nice 60-40, and CCK there is 63-39 just to make it less obvious. And why just nice both of them 60%?)

(Because otherwise, why this time round forum dont have insider information about which ward actually is PAP win and which ward actually is PSP win, etc, just like previous general elections?)

More importantly: we did enjoy ourselves. We went through the election process.

Now, let’s continue to move forward.

the silver lining is PSP managed to hit 40% so all is not lost.

TCB needs to step down from party management and increase in number of younger cadres under 40 into its CEC
