While FLCT share price has retreated to $0.96. I still remain bullish. I saved some money getting my air tickets to Brisbane and Melbourne before the Iran war, but when I change AU$ (better to pay with cash because Australia restaurants routinely add 2.5% surcharge to credit card payments on top of the huge charges the credit company charges you), I am going to have to pay more for my AU$ as it recently hit a 2 year high.

A stronger AUD is a good sign for the Australia economy (their exports are in greater demand) and when FLCT converts its AUD rental income into SGD.....

@limster 2.95 cents yours from Fraser logistics, Cheers

That should be about $3k dividend for me

y-o-y 2025 it was 3 cents exactly. I guess 2.95 is ok. Looking forward to the benefits to stronger AUD for the 2nd instalment of dividends at the end of the year.

wow, congratulations, you can go for fabulous holiday. A few days ago, Fed is saying they will raise rates if oil prices continue to stay high. But you sure will pass sarcastic remarks and say I am talking nonsense. But never mind, 以德报怨,I still wish for the best for you and pass you alert : check out Bank Of China. Finfluenzer say PB and dividend yield can match reits. She also say there are some HK stocks quite good, but she did not mention others. Our purpose is to earn dividends, we need not stick to reits, there are other asset classes to diversify away. But up to you, it is your money, meanwhile, enjoy your 3k.

My plan is to go for 7 fabulous holidays this year. Already been to Japan twice this year. Next trip coming up. Tickets all bought/redeemed before the Iran war so no fuel surcharge.

I am quite serious actually. if you are not buying, it means there is still fear in the market. if you are buying, it means that the FOMO trade is taking place, I will need to be cautious not to chase that type of upward market.

As Warren Buffett said, buy when others are fearful!

i believe the boat will come back, we will have chance to accumulate. STI and S&P are very bullish, except Reits. Some of the reits today looks quite weak. FLCT too, should be 95 after deducting the 2.95 cents priced in.

Its great that you feel you are able to forecast when the stock market is going to correct. If you are right, you can get rich very quickly.

But remember, investing for financial independence is something that takes many years and if you adopt this strategy, you have to be repeatedly accurate . Whats your track record in forecasting corrections? Can you share your previous posts where you forecasted a correction and managed to buy stocks cheap after they crashed?

I'm one of those that are unable to forecast, so I just buy when valuations are decent. FLCT to me is worth at least $1, so I got no problem buying it at $0.90 with a good margin of safety, for example. If market crashes, I have an 80/20 allocation and can always use my 20% 'warchest' to buy more when stocks are cheap.

congrats on your retirement! your 4-5 holidays include USA/Europe?

my 7 holidays are all nearby, like Japan and Australia. I budgeted for Europe trips but because of Ukraine then Middle East I switched to shorter Asia trips.

For me 1 Europe trip costs me more than 3 Japan trips. Europe I have to fly biz, Japan I'm ok with economy. And Japan everything is so cheap, especially the food and train fares.

life is short, go explore other places other than Japan/Europe. Cheaper, less crowds, can be stunningly beautiful

For those that may have bought REIT at highs, facing 10-20% paper loss, what are the strategies here? HODL, or HODL and continue nibble on the way down?
