Just came back from a weekend trip @ Genting. Crowd is sparse. I like it that way.

Drove all the way from SG to KL, switch driver to my wife.
Its fun driving over 200kph :D

Not fun when blur drivers trying to go into 1st lane when u are at their ass. Happened a few times @ 200+kph.....i cant understand what is so difficult to look @ side mirror before changing lane or signalling.

I noticed almost all sg & msian cars has faulty signal lights.

Have such thing as supplementary WorldCard?

As far as I know, cannot transfer GPs to another person's WorldCard. Her GPs go into her card. And your GPs go into your card.

thinking of going for a short getaway to genting. not of the theme parks, neither of the casino. just wanna go rest and relax kind.
but do you all think it's possible to go alone? like buying 1 coach ticket and a room to myself. does travel agency allow this?
Go alone and if you scare of sleeping alone at night, you can walk around indoor and you can find those OKT ask you "要不要小姐?" :D

In that case..you can apply the worldcard over at Genting.
With regards to room rates you can find out via the few travel agencies or try deal.com cos sometimes they do have promo.

Remember there were recent promo to get FWH @ $88 with coach tix but thats twin sharing if not wrong.

book through genting's online website.
fwh low season rm48 per room only.

Also, for the moon cake festival, you can exchange the combo meal voucher from the Genting Affinity package (RM300/500 NN) for 2 moon cakes.

It's either moon cakes, or makan at their eateries. Not both. Haha

About time they do something about their themepark. Now with Singapore's USS and JB LEGOLAND, who wants to go Genting themepark?? Imagine those kids coming back from holiday telling all their friends they go Genting, then some sat-ki elite classmates tell them they go Singapore USS. Dunno where to hide their face ****, go home complain to parents why other friends go USS, they go lousy old theme park at Genting. :s13:

But I have to admit Genting was the best place to go from the 1980s till when Singapore Casino open. The only thing worth heading up is only the cool weather.

A child nearly falls from a ride at Malaysia's Resorts World Genting Outdoor Theme Park, as seen from an amateur video on Ohmedia KL's YouTube channel.

The 54-second clip shows a typical scene at a theme park at first with a handful of children riding a small drop tower ride, called the Rodeo Rider. The 25-feet children's ride bounces up and down and is a simulation of a horseback ride where the kids get to play cowboys.

Initially, parents could be heard chatting happily on the sidelines. But then, things turned awry when one of the children, a Chinese girl which appeared to be no more than five years old, began screaming and wailing loudly before she started to slip out of her seat.

It was then that the laughter and chatter from the parents turned into shrieks and gasps of horror. Onlookers could be heard shouting for the girl to be brought to safety.

The child was seen hanging precariously from the ride's safety bar. Her entire body was dangling out of the gondola for about 10 seconds before she was brought down by the ride operator and a middle-aged Chinese man. It is unclear if the man is the girl's father or a bystander.

The girl was crying uncontrollably even after she was rescued and returned to the arms of a family member.

The other kids, who all seemed to be taller than the girl, appeared unfazed by what had happened and could been seen looking down in curiosity.
