I think the queen/twin selection is fake. On my last trip, I selected Queen but ended up still gave me Twin.

Are you really able to select multiple options? I did not have the mountain view option but I was only able to select EITHER high floor OR near lift but not BOTH.

The early check-in surcharge used to RM5 flat. Genting really know how to squeeze money from us.

Their Car park also start high charges.

Think no choice.

Dr. M increase gambling tax.

Fox 21st Century cancelled theme park, when Genting borrow so much money to build and renovated almost whole Genting, need to pay bank interest.

Queen/twin works for me so far.

Not fake. I just came back, selected and got that. I think it all depends on the availabilty off rooms.

Good to know. Maybe I was just unlucky. But can't complain since it's free.

Mountain view option if not shown means the available rooms all don't have mountain view.

I always want mountain view + near lift. In the first selection screen they only allow you to choose either one. But there is a button "More options" which will show the package mountain view + high floor + near lift for RM15.

Ah. Nice tip. I think I probably overlook that last trip. I will look out for it for my next trip.

The FAQ is clear. 3 years from your last 'earning transaction performance'

Earning transaction performance just means you use your card at the resturant or play inside the casino.

So as long as your last trip to Genting is not > 3 years, then it will not expires.

3 yrs was the std since many years alrdy. Not sure wat that May 2017 relevance to the overall pic...

I think May 2017 is when they starting using the 'Tier Point' system to determine your membership status for next year. So some members were concerned that the GP will expire within the caleder year like Tier Point.

Since 2015, by right yr previous GP's will be expired/ burnt - if not wrong i think valid for 3 yrs only? unless in between u had visited?

If inactive, the GP would not be burnt. I only went up last year 2018 and previous visit was on 2014. Nothing happened to my GP.

Dynamic pricing for outdoor theme park ? I was still hoping they have annual pass like last time.

Actually RM20 to check in 9 hours earlier (6 AM vs 3 PM) is quite worth already. Especially for those who take overnight shuttle.

The thing is that even though they are planning to charge you the surcharge, they are not making any guarantee that rooms will be available.

If want to guarantee, book 1 extra day. Genting rooms are not expensive. Deluxe is RM70. About S$24 only. Singapore chalet also not that cheap.

If online, the prosperity pkg can only be booked via web-based site...not possible via RWG app. Alternatively, buy via call to reservations center.
