How much does the outdoor theme park cost ? Do they have annual pass covering both indoor and outdoor ?

We passed by the old lucky garden on the way to this new rest stop and saw it completely deserted and in a pretty sad state.



Enjoy Genting bro and hope you huat gao gao. Can confirm that the "new" Yong Peng seems to be closed at night. So for those kakis taking nite buses, it might be better to stock up on some snacks and drinks at the 24hr convenience store located at the bus loading bay after clearing Malaysia custom at Woodlands.

Yes the new FW bus terminal is pretty foreign and one basically have to take the escalator up and will reach the halal food court, take one more escalator up and you will end up right Outside DTF and entrance to the Sky casino.

**Ps: for transtar buses, they still depart from the former Resort Hotel B5 area and not at the Bus terminal.

***Ps2: the entire resort hotel (less B5) is currently closed for renovations.

The convenience store at the coach awaiting bay after clearing the 2nd link Malaysia customs is also closed at night time. The driver let us purchase stuff at the petrol kiosk.

Yes the 168 super store and B5 food court still there but seems to me like the B5 food court has changed management. (thou the curry mee still damn sedap)

Prices at the 168 super store has also went up and most products are at the same price to the hilltop grocer located at Sky avenue. One might consider to purchase necessities from Hilltop grocer instead since can gain GP.

Hoping for an FR on the old Genting casino cos due to time constraints the previous round didn't managed to play there. Honestly for the 2 nites I spent playing at sky casino, I didn't really enjoyed myself due to the lack of tables (when I was there only 4 roulette tables would be open [6pax per table x 4 = 24pax) and an additional 4 tables open during selected timings]. So often I spend more time waiting to have a slot to bet than actually betting. I got so frustrated on the 2nd nite that I end up giving up on playing table and went to the slot machines instead.

As such hoping to visit and see if the old casino is any better since I will be in Genting for 5D4N from the 25th before heading down to KL. If the experience is similar, I would most likely take it slow and not play much this round

Yalor. Damn dulanz especially like when u see a round heng heng u wanna bet on a number only to be told there's no more slots le.

For the 2 times I managed to get a slot, I encountered "last game" after playing a few rounds

Oh ya not sure is it due to covid regulations or what now they no longer have free flow drinks (no coffee, no orange juice or even plain water). Instead one can purchase 500ml bottled water at RM4/each from vending machines located around Sky casino which is expensive considering one can get a 1.5l bottled water for the same price at sky grocer

Hahaha ya man! This is so silly! So I bring my own little bottle from hotel. Easier to carry also.

Ya bro I sincerely hope that it is cos of covid regulations and not cost cutting measures. Like seriously we are going there to play and bet and yall can't even bothered to give free drinks.

Thanks. Use to buy can drinks which was cheaper there. Good suggestion on Hilltop grocer. No need to walk so far.

This Sunday 24th...for 5N. Bought my air tic too early. Upset really upset. Cos bought before travel easing announcements as the prices kept going up by the day from March experience. Now back to below 90 ish. Hahaha

2. Solitaire will come back "soon" currently only super coach and Z club running the route to Genting and Super coach running the route to KL. If you follow transtar FB, you can see post advertising the hiring of bus cabin crew which I assume will be for the solitaire service

3. For Z club, currently we still have to change bus at Malaysia custom cos apparently Z Club buses still does not have approval to enter SG until at least the last week of April. On the return trip which was on Z club, we changed to a standard transtar cross border bus at Malaysia custom which then take us to Jurong East - Sengkang and Tampines in that order. Currently only Super coach have approval to enter Singapore.

4. For Z club there is no FnB service onboard and we stopped at the "new" Yong Peng. Apparently the Lucky garden one has closed down during the pandemic.

Will update this coming week to see if Z club can enter SG without the need to change bus.
