Confirmed with PCThemes that Gigabyte GTX 760 selling at $409. Stocks arriving at their shop sometime later in the day. But be warned: at $409 pricing, most likely stocks will be in small quantities, maybe 5 pcs or so.

Mai tu liao....faster camp....this is good pricing!!!

this is really good news, but only pct selling at 409 or for the first batch of gigabyte gtx760?Check some of the stores pricelist, still over the $500 mark for this card

No idea. I was at SLS at ard 3pm. Walked one round, no sight of any 760 of any brand ard. Only 770. Cybermind closed today for stock-taking, the rest also only a handful of customers in their shops.

But i left at ard 4. So i dun noe the situation after that, lyk whether the cards arrived or not. Maybe someone update us on the latest situation on the ground?

Let wait for HWZ to verify the pricing. I think no other brand is above $500 for GTX760 except for ASUS? :p

GTX 670 or 770 are good upgrades for 560ti. Coz u cant play Nvidia's waiting game. Even Nvidia's game is in the hands of its rival - whether or not new cards come out depends on AMD's response to the 700 series cards.

Well rumors that its gonna come out with BF4.

Because AMD basically "bought" the rights to use BF4 from EA to use as a way to promote their cards.

We're aware of the rosy pricing of the Gigabyte card - certainly so because we reviewed it :s22:

To those who're not certain if this price holds true - only time will tell. On our part, we've re-confirmed this 3x with CDL and Gigabyte directly to check if this was some typo or mistake.

We've firm confirmation that is the correct price and they want to be very aggressive. If they can't hold up to their word, the ball is in their court to do so and we will be ever more wary of their tactics. On our part at this point of time, we've already mentioned this discrepancy in our review and those who read it in full would have noticed our advisory note:-

Having said that, unfortunately, we have noticed that current street prices do not seem to match Gigabyte's local distributor's suggested retail price and many vendors are selling the Gigabyte GTX 760 for upwards of $500. While prices should come down eventually, for now, do be careful when you're out shopping and know that there should be room for negotiating a lower price for the card.

At the end of the day, take into consideration that SRP is often used as a comparison point for retailers to run discounts and promos. How do you think some brands and products can be on sale right from the start of its shelf life? Put a high SRP, then run sales promotions to tell people how cheap it is now - doesn't that sound all too familiar? We're not saying this is the case here, but just pointing you to one of the many retail tactics.

Lastly, regardless of the low price, Gigabyte is the winner from our testing - the low price just sweetens the deal further.

Cheers.

Can't you see that the distro faked the SRP so as to get an award from HWZ?

I am shocked that HWZ gave a best value award to them when it is actually selling for S$500+.

Just let the distros rot to death if they continue such attitude, dun know if they dumb or think consumers are dumb, still keep chopping when amazon is offering a much more competitive price.

Let wait for HWZ to verify the pricing. I think no other brand is above $500 for GTX760 except for ASUS? :p

Yeah. I raised my suspicion of price markups as mentioned in this thread to them. But according to Yazid, first batch of Gigabyte GTX 760 confirmed coming in at $409. What happens to subsequent batches he dunno. Maybe subsequent batches distros or local retailers may or may not mark up prices.

It's really telling and sad, isn't it, that a price that is still inflated over nvidia's SRP is considered to be aggressive.

Damn ex sia 770, 650 compared to 409 got 760. I NSF poor haiz
Get the zotac 770 for 609 lor... $200 more than 760 provided u can get the giga. Since both r rebranded 660ti n 680.. now the price gap much smaller as compared to the 600 series.

At 409 bucks, I think I gotta give it to Gigabyte for being the most reasonable in its pricing locally. Anything near the 500 mark is in short, unreasonable, considering the Nvidia SRP of 250 USD. 409 with an after market cooler is not a bad deal, considering that the good quality Gigabyte products from my personal experience.
