He managed to direct people attention to the actions that Canopy Hawker Groups, etc. has been doing and the fact that they have been protected, etc.

He really shed a lot of light on the thick and thorny issues that hawkers face, and inadvertently let people know some of the reasons why hawker prices so high.

Not because hawker earns alot, because they operate on thin margins (some just break even or even lose money) but because of the greedy actions by Canopy Hawker Group, etc.

It took a public uproar for them to reply, and even then they did Not address the main issue which was raised but try to misled the direction of the public anger.

Bertha Henson also helped a lot, kudos for her for bringing attention on the hawker group behind it to the public.

whole point is this is a hawker and not a food court, want profits, go elsewhere. nea should juz take back all sehc.....

The backers or the owners of this CHG must be damn stiff to stand firm about the charity meal requirement that they demanded.

Even though there are public attention, are we seeing any one from the system stepping forward to resolve the issues ?
I am not seeing any one so far.

All the additional layers are maybe to funnel more money to cronies?

This CHG still dare to diam diam so long and hide behind OYK and gang.

Funny how MSM never shine the focus on them, before Bertha Henson pointed it out.

They should be having the dumb 1980 mindset.
When the monitor speaks, the resident will believe and silenced.

It does not work that way.
We dunno what happened behind the scene.
The CHG should have some strong back mountain to dun give a F about the noise.

But when talk about coe again will say I don't drive.. nt my taichi but never see all daily necessity required logistics to transport which required COE..

About time someone rein them and other similar groups like Timbre Group, etc. liao.

Claim to reserve hawker culture, but keep on piling on costs, etc. onto the hawkers and force them to pass onto consumers or close down.

Really zek arh, they already earn so much liao still dare to so greedy. Gam xia to KF Seetoh and also, Bertha Henson, etc. to sheding more light on this issue.

Let see what actions will CHG take to remedy this time round, replace the existing charges and change names ma or dare to take away the unnecessary charges.
