Anyone find the default volume for the Galaxy Nexus to be damn soft?

Why nowadays a lot of phones have such a low volume for ringtones? The loudest still BlackBerry.

Use Volume+. Or use Franco.Kernal.

Anyway, anyone has this annoying 'New Voicemail Number' at random times?

Does anyone have any recommendation as to where would be a good place to buy the GNex? I've looked at expansys/moby/mobilesg/sgbest and the lack of local warranty is a little troubling since some GNex have been known to have lemon screens.

Yeah I'm looking to get a local set, but it's been a long time since I've bought phones locally. All local sets must purchase from telco?

No... those shops u mention all got sell local sets de ma, buy from telco only when contract renew, if not telco always more expensive

I know for a fact expansys sells export sets, and judging from some postings on their forum, some users were unable to register their GNex on the google wesbite. They can't even tell the user where the set was supposed to be sold.

SGbest seems to have the best price, but they offer 1 year in house warranty nia. Don't know whether will honour or not.

No Choice. Even you bring it to Samsung Service Centre, your data will be also wipe out. Just do a backup on your sms. Once you reset your phone, your apps will be auto downloaded when you first sign in with your google account.

I even went to down to Singtel Centre to swap for a brand new SIM card to ensure that it is not their network setting issues and conclude that the phone itself has issue.

I did a reset but my apps and stuff not auto downloaded even though I did a backup. Was it something that I did wrong?
