Go to Settings> About Tablet > Tap build number 7 times or until it says " Congratulation u r a developer"

Go back you will see Developer Options just above About Tablet

Inside Developer Option check the "Stay Awake" button. Enjoy

BTW why do u need the screen to be always awake?

I think that option only makes the screen stay awake while the tablet is charging. I use an app to turn off the auto-off (see my other response)

Edit: re yr question, it can be useful when say u r using a map app while driving n u dont want the screen to go off

I use an app called No Screen Off. U can place the app icon on the home screen and just tap it whenever u want to disable/enable the auto-off. It's a free app. Theres also an Extended ver that can simultaneously control the bluetooth and wifi. Really excellent and useful app.

I also use another useful app called Screen Off and Lock that allows me to turn off the screen without pressing the button

I am pretty sure that those map-related app are supposed to keep the device awake. It is weird that you have to do it manually.

Most have (usually the navigation ones) but some do not (these r usually non-turn by turn map apps like Locus) or the option is hidden deep within the sub-menus. I find it much easier to just tap the icon before i run the map app rather than looking into each app's menus and hunting for the option

It's only when u need this kind of app that u will go hunting for it. Otherwise, most people can do without it

Although i would agree that most websites would be easier to thread on 4:3 ratio... but i found that the N7 ratio is almost perfect for reading my ebooks. it fits a single page very nicely and looks really neat on full screen mode. (Silly things that made me really happy. )

I'm assuming you're referring to reading ePubs? Responsive text flow definitely improves the readability of any text. What reading app do you use? Moon Reader Pro? or Google Play Books...?

Yeah.. I do have a concern for these as well.. you don't need an SP for this, just get a case! I've been looking out for a good swivel case as well... but I don't think any exist yet.. some are available for preorders though...

On this note, i want to share a very interesting accidental discovery. I happen to have a audio-technica usb mic. A chain of events leading to me needing to use it this morning... that was when i realized that it has a cover that is almost a perfect fit for the N7...
It's just the a tad too long and too narrow by just the slightest bit but.. it fits!! And it is well padded inside meant to cushion any impacts against the microphone. I'm pretty amazed... check it out:

You using which player?

For now, software mode on MX player eats battery very fast.
Try using HW+

always try to play on h/w first (NOT h/w+ because i find that it is mostly incompatible so i leave the option unticked) and if it doesn't work then change to s/w.

sometimes u get smooth video but no sound so u may have to change audio to "use s/w audio decoder" but the video can still be h/w. using the s/w audio decoder also allows u to boost the volume

Saturday tell me tracking number still havent get, when I do get it, means the item 2-3 days will be delivered to me, from cgw>dhl can have such weird spikes in delivery time meh? pls advise, have half a heart to just fk it and cancel my order, wait for local set come

once you ship via cgw, within 1 day should get dhl airwaybill no, this is for express speed, i dk about standard.

curious, why don't you order one yourself?
