Hopefully u have solve the problem, else u can just get into recovery, do a wipe and do a factory reset and restart.

To get into recovery, hold on to the power button untill the tablet goes OFF, after Tablet fully OFF mode. Hold on to power and volume down button.......after a while it should get into stock recovery mode.

It should be back to factory fresh start.

BUT first boot up after the factory reset m,ay take a while just be patient, everything should be OK after it start up completely.

Need help!!

After I charged my nexus 7, it's touchscreen become inactive, so I do a hard power down, and now it cannot boot.

Stuck at the Google word screen.

I tried to do a factory reset using method in xda, but still stuck at the same screen.

Anyone encounter same issues?

In addition, Google says the Nexus 4, 7, 9, 10 and Player are all receiving the Stagefright patch sometime today, as well.

I have installed this latest patch; I think it is for the stagefright fix plus other minor bug fixes.

I received the notice and downloaded the update without thinking too much. All seems ok.

it is good but i wont recommend it when Nexus tablet 2015 is around the corner ... unless you die die one ... you can try HTC Nexus Table (but do go through the fourmn) - many horror stories ....

alternatively, wait till next week - 6 Oct, see what MSFT Surface Pro 4 has to offer ...

how good is it btw?? not sure if i should still get the google nexus gen 2 though.
