i am using ipad2 and s3 charger head, but when using ipad2, it can charge but dun seem to auto cut off when fully charge. any problem here?

Send for service loh. 8th burn road. Just behind tai seng mrt. Go early. Open at 11am. Now they are in a mess. So 5 working days to get it back. Send on sat morning. You should get It by friday afternoon.

I just collected my nexus 7 for the same speaker blown problem. Sent in last Fri evening. Was quoted 5 days turn around time. Received text/call its ready yesterday on Thurs early afternoon. Total turnaround time 4 full working days.

thanks bro, is it possible to collect by weekend also? if ever it was already repaired? is it a common problem with nexus 7?, i already unlock it and rooted is that alright, or i need to change it back to stock?

Dont quite get what you mean by collect by weekend..? They are open on Saturday too for 2hours only. You can collect on a Saturday if you want. The speaker problem is a common problem with nexus 7 unfortunately.. Im not too sure about sending in an unlocked/rooted set cause mine was locked/unrooted. ANyway, it should be easy to unroot and re-lock the bootloader right?

For my case, the speaker was replaced. When I asked the service engineer if the problem will reoccur again, they also cant confirm.

Even on standby 7 days also I doubt the battery could last for 7 days standby.

2nd thing is are you using the original cable. If no then please use it. Are you using the original charger? If so then you should charge the most 2 and a half hours to 3 at max.

Our charger is at 2A not 1A. Wires also play a part. Long or short all have different resistance.

Don't let your battery run flat or you risk being able to recharge it (lots of instances of this issue reported; google it; you will also find suggestions on how to resolve this). Yes, make sure you use the original (or equivalent) 2A charger required by this high capacity battery. Earlier, I made the mistake of using a "std" charger (1A), and the N7 took forever to get a full charge!

Yep i'm using the charger provided with the N7. Don't know why like that.

Normal. But to a certain extent. It should not be any more than 55 degrees celcius. Check by using battery widget that has temperature monitoring.

I hope the service centre will get back to me by monday or tues. Hope that the stupid indonesia network will go away. If not I would bang table to ask for a new set.

The international warranty itself is already a very rare service thats currently provided only by Asus among other android makers..haha so please be contented

Anyway, my nexus 7 was factory reset-ed when I send it in for replacement of the speaker.. Just so you know. Maybe they can replace it without factory reset.. cause the service engineer actually asked me if they can perform a factory reset to test out all other stuff to ensure all's good (not just the speaker) before returning it back to me.

Hi all I have installed the nexus media importer however when I connect the otg with my USB thumb drive it says waiting for media and stops there. Any advice how to get it working?

My is not rooted any way I can transfer more than 4gb into the nexus?

check whether your nexus media importer is the latest version.

best is root it and use stickmount.
