Wah lan. When I was at the service centre this afternoon I think twice about buying their laptop. Next is their transformer pad. Got hinge problem. Cannot dock properly. Wifi cannot connect properly. Padphone connector port to the tablet also worn off after long usage.

i just ordered mine 3 days ago but up till now the status on mine is still "new order processing"
not too sure if mine's taking too long or im just impatient

i search for that issue before in xda and googling it sometime back. From wat i can gather, factory data reset will solve it most of the time. some ppl still have the issue after factory reset so u wanna try it or not is up to u. As always, not guaranteed to work.

I bought my from hwz 32gb for 460 with next day delivery. Or you can buy 450 for cod. The user is davidquah or something. He created a Mo before for n7

Quite likely kena credit card check already....eventually I cancelled all my orders. I used paypal to pay and all went through. The funny thing was, I bought 3 and all 3 came in different volumatric weight for hopshopgo.....
they were weighted at 1kg, 1.5kg and 2kg arghhh......

Price of hardware only is SGD$365 and likely charges by vpost is around SGD$20-$30 based on the weight of 1.7 lbs (0.771 kg).

Hi all I have installed the nexus media importer however when I connect the otg with my USB thumb drive it says waiting for media and stops there. Any advice how to get it working?

My is not rooted any way I can transfer more than 4gb into the nexus?

To share my experience bought from B&H.

1. Order on 16 Dec 12
2. Shipping from B&H to HSG by UPS on 17 Dec 12
3. Delivered to HSG on 27 Dec 12 (Take so long due to Christmas Break)
4. Ship out from HSG to Singapore on 31 Dec 12 by DHL
5. Delivered to my place by DHL on 5 Jan 13 evening.
6. Open up immediately and can not power on. Plug in to charge and can power on but can not hold charge. Charge for 24 hours the battery still 0%
7. Sent to ASUS service centre on 8 Jan 13. Have to wait for 5 working days to repair

Hi,

You may want to do a recalibration of your battery using the app BatteryCalibration in PlayStore. First do a full charge and once done, run the app. See if this helps.

3) Arrived CGW yesterday.
4) Shipped out from CGW today.
5) Expected arrival date 17-Jan.

Duration : 3 weeks.
Cost : US$247.16 (base cost)
US$6.93 (Shipping)
Total : USD$254.10 x 1.3 (credit card exchange rate)
approx SGD330.00


side note: I do have an existing account with B&H from the days when i was working in US. But i have heard that when you create a new international account, they may ask you to verify your credit card details by faxing or emailing them a copy of the card. You may want to follow up on that B&H is quite efficient and usually do not take so long to process and order... unless you ordered on a friday.

DBS got a promo with CGW now, so i registered a new account and got a US$10 CGW voucher

correction: promo ended on 31 Dec. But i registered the account before that, so the voucher stayed inside.
