Samsung is well known for the screen quality. I don't really use a tablet at home but I might get a Tab S or Pro to be at home. Intend to hoot some smart items.

Tab Pro look so nice man. I want the Note series cos i feel the stylus is more suitable for big screen, can draw and write better. Waiting for a 64bit SoC and lollipop then read review lol but also will wait for it to be cheap cos it's so freaking expensive and i'm only getting it for consumption purposes. Need a hard case for it also to protect the screen, break already sure damm ex to fix.

Like that prepare to at least wait 1 year or even 2 years if you want it cheap. Maybe you might wanna look at 2nd hand ones if you don't mind.

Hi,

I have N7 2013 model and I have a problem.

The N7 suddenly black out on me.

What should I do to get it back up again?

What appears on the screen; I have the Android figure fallen on the floor and I can toggle betweeen Start, Recovery Mode and something Bootloader and cant go beyond that.

I appreciate if anyone out there can provide assistance..

Thank you in advance

Anyone here has problem with the sound? Sound works on and off. Halfway watching movie, it goes off. Then I click here and there, do some stuff, then it comes back. For no rhyme or reason.

This happened on my 2013 model. Was noticed by my girlfriend as she uses it to watch HK drama via OTG. Apparently for her case, its 2 - 3 seconds of low "doooo" sound then suddenly the sound will come back at the very start of each show.

Same problem as yours? :s11:

Hah, my wife uses it to watch HK drama on website. Problem with mine is the sound just goes off. And then there isn't any sound. Only way to get it back is by luck, or reboot the device.

Irritating... Now she wants to hijack my Galaxy Tab Pro.

I think it should be a hardware fault I guess.

On lollipop? Mine is fine, watch many movies since the lollipop upgrade, no issues with videos here.

Yes with lollipop. In fact, the problem started when I got lollipop. Did not have this issue with Kit Kat. But, could be a coincidence...

Resetting occasionally would solve the issue. But I can't be watching a movie for 2 minutes, have the sound switch off, then reset the tablet. Then keep doing it till the end of the movie... I probably won't make it till the end of the movie. Gone mad with frustration...

Of course not la. I mean reset once and see if problem persist. I dun think anyone would keep resetting lol. Everytime reset like 30mins how to watch movie sia. Hmm maybe you can try using earphone or even bluetooth headphone to see if the problem also affect these. If not then maybe it's your speaker that has issue.

I was actually wondering whether its worth it to upgrade to a Nexus 9 from my N7 2012. Then my girlfriend hit me and say my N7 is basically a paper weight now, don't waste the money. :s13:

Still can't justify the use of a tablet when I'm home.

Haha. Yes I did do a reboot. Problem didn't go away. I tried plugging in my xmini and headsets. Also didn't work. I think it's a sound card thing. Damn...

My wife uses the N7 to watch TVB videos because she doesn't want to watch on her laptop. Bigger screen, dunno why don't want to use. Then, I said why not use your Note 4. Then she says too small, don't like. Sheesh.

I think N9 is not worth it man. You really pay a premium for it, unlike the N7.

I don't know why but I kinda hook on the fact that I feel like collecting Nexus series stuffs. :s13:

My biggest turnoff from getting Nexus devices is no external SD card support. Of all things, Google decided to copy the worst feature of Apple.

Old Nexus devices also cannot keep up with the latest OS updates. Ask any owner of Nexus 10. Performance-wise, they'll prefer old Jelly Bean than Lollipop.
