Just flashed my N7 with 5.02 factory image.
So far so good.

Edit: realised posted in the wrong thread as mine is N7 2013 LTE :)

Dancing girls are never bloatware haha. Anyway, lollipop on this device is a mix bag. I think N7 hardware is too hopeless to have any hope of performance improvement on it. Will wait for 1 week to settle and see how it goes.

Generally, navigation is fast and nice but it feels kinda buggy. Chrome is near unusuable, the lag damm jialat. Think time for a tablet upgrade lol

2013 model seems okay to me. Generally can't expect too much from the 2012 model.

About 1 month into my purchase for the 2012 model back then i already felt the lag. The went online to see and found out it's a prevailing issue for everyone who has it or maybe it's the 1st few batches only. 3rd day already my screen suddenly had issues and also the battery problem which is still going on now. It only conclude that i feel ASUS can't make decent products like laptop, tablets and phones. Their mobo and graphics cards are good but not others. Had a laptop from them b4 also, 1 year later problem pop up.

on the other hand i have quite good experience with asus and trusted them ever since.

all my laptops with asus going strong.
Tablets, the nexus 7 is my second one.

now even my router also asus :s13::s13:

I had a bit of problem with their router at 1st but later on it was solved. Not sure and remember how haha.

Good ah. Some brand works for some people and not for others. Had a colleague that swore by Acer but including myself and others i know who bought them has nothing good to say haha.

Okay this is what I feel about watching all these streaming videos. After using the N7(both versions) and a few other android tablets, I also use it mainly to watch videos and to mirror them.

The biggest issue I noticed from these China applications, its catered way more to IOS. Using those cheaper android tablets to watch, its gonna be a headache if you're not tech savy enough. Even so, its quite troublesome to actually get the application to work. Of course it will definitely work but once in a while it will cock up.

So I would like to say, get a 2nd hand Ipad(no need latest) and use it mainly for these dramas. This is what I did for my girlfriend.
