LOL, why would anyone always want to change phones and go through all the migration? too free? or they secretly enjoy being traumatized?
Same reason as why you want to change from iphone to pixel so itchy backside... Then multiply that feeling by 10 then you will understand.:s13:

Anyways back to topic, I only use stuffs that can work on both iOS and Android. E.g: Google Photos can work on both platforms. 3rd party password managers etc.

i mean, they could just develop an app for it, right? it would be more business for apple anyway. brands like garmin watches work with both ios and android without issues. so what's apple’s excuse?

Walled garden.

I made a conscious effort to use 3rd party accessories/apps to escape from this, e.g. Garmin watches, Sony earbuds, Synology backups and Enpass password managers.

My Garmin watch has battery life which last way longer with any Android or apple watch, even with sleep tracking.

eh, back to the Advancer topic, I don't flip phone like him la. I no have such good lobangs/free time...

Tio mark only cos I keep changing phones only la... But is fine la, joking joking everyday is good. However, I am on the mid range phone market now... Things are far more interesting on the mid range phones as they cramp as much specs as they could at the pricepoint instead of flagships with incremental upgrades.

Even @garychengjw korkor also semi retire liao...

So far poco worked well for them so maybe I'll just get the F7. Thanks for the recommendations.

No worries. Most welcome

For parents, I will recommend global rom. CN roms need quite a bit of fiddling and usually elderly will not know how to tweak here and there.

However, if want the best specs for the money, CN phones are highly recommended. But, there is the caveat where some apps might not work properly on CN roms, then they will start calling you asking a lot of stuffs. So to save your trouble, just go global roms for them ba.
