Can't compare LCD vs Oled. Different tech. Also a calibrated screen, the white is always more yellow. That's what I learnt when I got my Surface Pro which are all screen calibrated for production work.

Don't understand why you want a wider phone unless you have giant hands. The phone is already at the limit of 1 hand operation when the thumb is trying to reach across the keyboard.

I like this speaker more because it has better clarity, great for podcasts. Too much low end tend to make higher end muddy. Personal preference.

Agree - I should compare against iPhone OLED screen not against a LCD screen. Also I supposed they kept it narrower because it's so tall.

Compared to iphone 14 pro max, yes it is narrower ( 76 vs 77 mm )

And the iPhone right angle slab makes the phone feel even bigger.

1 thing to give it to apple is the superb battery life

Where I am currently staying they don't have cases.. if I am keeping it I will look to get a back sticker. I prefer to keep it slim and light as much as possible. I have been using an iPhone 8 Plus without a case/protector for 6 months without any noticeable scratches.

Also, I think because of the size I tend to take more care so less chance of dropping etc.

IPhone 8 frame is matte aluminum. 7p is frame is aluminum which is a headache.

Regarding the size I agree. I dropped my company's iPhone se 2 more often than my old and larger oneplus 7t

Makes it easy to use the curved screen instead of the Spigen ultrahybrid style which impedes side motion.

Yes I prefer cases that do not block the sides of the curved screen too despite the dangers if you drop the phone.

Do you know if any of the Google/bellroy cases from Google store block the curves?
