With stuff like VPN and call screen etc disabled, would y'all recommend to still get pixel 7? Seems like battery life is meh as well from what I read here.. Want to hoot but seems like there's quite a few issue with pixel still.

My oppo find x2 dying soon, keeps on hanging :(.

Oppo batt life also meh tbh...

U have to weigh out if u like the following pixel perks
1. Computational photography
2. On time software update
3. Photo editing features such as Magic eraser etc

Maybe wait for s23 series. Pixel is really about simplicity and the computational photography. Battery life is not bad for me on p7, about 7+ hrs ost. The main thing I like about p7 is the size. Not too big or too small.

Ya I love the simplicity since I generally just use whatever the phone come with. I have low usage of their photography features.

Almost want to hoot but realised a few feature don't work in SG. Hopefully CNY got some kind of sales then maybe I'll just hoot.

You're not alone. My P7 also does that occasionally on M1. the reliability Really cmi can't wait to eventually switch back to Singtel after this month. Pay more but at least it works.
I brought the phone to aperia (service center) today... omfg need to backup for them to do updates and/or mobo changed.... the CSO did help me change preferred network type from 5G recommended to LTE.... the network at that point turned from not connecting to okay .... shall monitor another few days.. is it really M1?... if so, i might also want to change already since I am on SIM only...
