Ya I love the simplicity since I generally just use whatever the phone come with. I have low usage of their photography features.

Almost want to hoot but realised a few feature don't work in SG. Hopefully CNY got some kind of sales then maybe I'll just hoot.

If you are into lasting battery, super fast charging, stronger signal, playing games.. Sorry P7 series is not for you.

You may try waiting for P8.

Meantime, can go for other phones, eg. Samsung Galaxy Series, Oppo, Vivo, Huawei(If you are ok with no google services by default)

I brought the phone to aperia (service center) today... omfg need to backup for them to do updates and/or mobo changed.... the CSO did help me change preferred network type from 5G recommended to LTE.... the network at that point turned from not connecting to okay .... shall monitor another few days.. is it really M1?... if so, i might also want to change already since I am on SIM only...

M1 coverage is not as wide as singtel..

So don't really bother with 5G unless you're with singtel as of today.

It is stronger on LTE, usually max bars for me. Its 5G then drop to 1-2 bars (mostly 1) But even on LTE my phone can drop signal few times throughout the day. Even if no drop, I can see 4-5 signal bars while on LTE, and the internet just doesnt load at all. Really really bad... But my friend on Xiaomi and poco said he can easily get full bars on 5G while on the same M1 plan. So I don't know whats going on. Most likely a phone modem firrmware issue, not a defective phone. As I mentioned earlier in the thread, I was prev on singtel 5G and had no such issues.

Seeing how some others here on M1 also having similar problems, I'd say its best to avoid M1 for now if you're using P7/P7P

Quick update about the Pixel 7 VOLTE situation:

Seems to work with M1 even though inside the SIM settings VOLTE doesn't seem to exist. Guess they fixed the issue then made it so you can't turn it off, which I'm fine with. Last time it didn't work with my 4a and 4a 5g, but now pixel 7 is perfectly fine. I'll probably still be swapping to gomo sim only eventually though, so I need to test if gomo works or not.

Can try and see if next month got CNY discount again or not lor. Christmas had 100 off, and I missed that, but they gave a $50 voucher from 1-3 Jan so I used that instead.
