I read that Google Pay will work on the current Android P Developer Preview version if the bootloader is locked. Is yours unlocked?

Hmmm, there's confusion about this locked/unlocked. Perhaps I'll just toggle it to test it out.

I don't think it will work.

I tried to Google.

You can try at the shop before buying though. There is no harm.

Have you tried the pixel 2's adapter? If I recall correctly it did work with the pixel 1. Sadly don't have one to testnow to confirm. But I can confirm xiaomi adapter from mi6 won't work since there's no DAC inside. Think need adapter that supports the proper usb c audio protocol or what. I was able to try using xiaomi's usb c ANC earphones, and works with first gen pixel.

I don't think it is so much related to the OS.

Most likely your battery has "worn" out.

You can consider changing the battery at breakfixnow.

I changed the battery for my 6P with them. So far so good.

Thank you for your reply. With your confirmation I will be going there for replacement. Trying to avoid the never ending chase for new phones :p
