I think these cheap phones are okay for basic usage. Not lag. Not urgent can see see look look the next few sales got good discount or not.

Why no official SG60 ($60) smartphone?

Tiongland now "dumping" all their low-end fones on the cheap due to tarrifs war, in fact some mths back alr started when Trump shushu first announce his huntam on Tiong products

Think very hard to hab "official" $60 fone, at best also they gib smlj $60 off or $60 fone but tie with 2-yr contract cos moi guess gahmen cant secure a tender or deal with a particular fone brand/telcos to provide a fone at $60 cost to celebrate our SG60

Previously moi alr created a thread abt this "Special Edition $60 fone" to commomerate our SG60 but seems it didnt work out between the relevant parties

But fret notch, as per @mosmos post, there's always the "unofficial" $60 fone deal

Just need to patiently wait and lookout for it
