prefer brewed coffee. above setup cost $100+.
the freshness and quality of the coffee grinds is all that matters in this way of brewing
did you get water-softener?
I got the Pur water filter. Should be enough I guess. SG water is generally soft.

You dealth with Phil at Highlander? He is a nice chap.. Very knowledgeable, Coffee conesiour.. always willing to share knowledge of the trade & industry.... Went there for coffee numerous times.
Please do a review if there's any different in taste. I've been considering a water filter myself. Some say doesn't make a difference in SG![]()
after 2 days of using it, here's my take.
there's certainly a difference in taste, the texture seems more lighter and watery. I wouldn't go back to drinking tap water now. its a worthy investment and will encourage you to drink more water now.
Thanks...
Interesting... does it gives you clearer notes?
Will try it when I have the chance.![]()
clearer notes as in my shots? there's a difference in my shots now, but I couldn't tell if its the water making the difference coz I've also changed my dose since I got the weighing scale now too. I'm just done redialling my grinder.
Nice...
btw, how much you bought your filter for? Any recommendation which shop?![]()
the grinder I suppose is the gaggia mdf?
where you see the set? taka?
