This filter remineralise with magnesium, making it even harder than tap water.
Magnesium is part of limescale formation.

limescale formation is not so simple as just having magnesium ions......

if you look at the bwt system it is also designed to reduce limescale formation despite adding magnesium for taste..

best to look at the data sheet or test the tds yourself with local supplies to see if it meets the machine's requirements.

I think better stay away from such filters, a too big risk to destroy your machine.
