Anyone owns the DF54? My Varia VS3 gen 1 motor died after 1.5 years, so I need a new replacement.

Thinking of either the Baratza encore esp, DF54 or Niche Zero. I only make espresso and prefer to single dose.

I don’t recommend Encore ESP, compared to what you have been using and the other two options. Niche Zero is not bad if budget is not a problem

Hi I currently own a Delonghi Dedica EC685 and looking to get my first grinder. Was reading up on the different grinders and was hoping to get some advice here.

My wants on the grinder to be purchased
- budget around $300+
- decent grinds for espressos (I only make espressos)
- easy to use (especially for noobs like me) and easy to clean/maintain

With that in mind, I'm thinking of getting either the Baratza Encore Esp (better espresso grinds) or Breville Smart Grinder Pro (better features - grind directly to the portafilter, timer). what would you suggest that i get?

Thanks. I went to read up and watch youtube videos on this model. The noise level is rather loud.
In terms of espresso grinds, the Encore Esp seems to be better if I read correctly? more settings for espresso and a better burr?

i didnt use the encore before so hard for me to make compare.
And yes, he Baratza is quite loud.. But for espresso grind, it works.. as it can grind quite fine..

i upgraded from it to niche zero..
So far best upgrade. lol

I'm looking to upgrade my "lousy" Baratza Encore ESP. I don't find it any better than the Baratza Encore.

Will upgrade once I moved into my new place. Now countertop space is very very limited.
