last time i saw carousell $1.6k don't know about warranty. new

just now use hand grinder hario mss-1 grind finest the default portafilter jammed. pressurised with one tiny hole. too slow i use makita impact driver attach to grind

like last time i bought kopitiam ground coffee from supermarket very fine also jam

hario grinds finer than my braun kg7070 electric burr grinder

Thinking whether to sell my Bezzera Strega and get the new Bezzera Aria. Looking at saving some counter space.

But it has been serving me very well so I'm very reluctant.

If counter space is really a concern then no choice. Should fetch a decent price for second hand. I serviced my bezzera after ten years and it continue to serve me well too.

My brother sells away his machine and get a new one every five years instead of servicing. This is quite smart imo.

Only recommended if you cant do electrical modding to install a PID. Right now, Gaggia EVO comes with standard 9 bar pressure; the only thing you need to install is a PID. A pressure gauge is nice but useless for a single boiler non-flow control machine. 9 bar pressure is all you need. However, all things considered, profitec is an established company with good products. Whats your current grinder?

Well...new machines are released every now and then. Past recommendations need to due diligent a bit mah.

I dont under how you using that grinder and can acceptable shots

Are you using the pressurised basket? if so upgrading yields little difference.

Thats a solid combo! Was using a gaggia + PID with eureka manuale (basically a specialita but dumb version) then upgraded to Silvia Pro and Niche. Not a huge difference but very easy to operate now. Biggest frustration i had with gaggia is that back to back shots need wait awhile cause of the small boiler.

For the eureka grinder, i suggest seeing this reddit post

Don’t know bro…I see the grinder right now in the market so Zai Zai one. Buy back still need some modding to achieve the intended purpose. That’s why I throw abit more and a niche. Super overpriced for what it is doing compared to like df64/83. But it’s simple, easy to clean and most importantly no modding, come at a cost lor.

Super overpriced for what it is doing compared to like df64/83. But it’s simple, easy to clean and most importantly no modding, come at a cost lor.

Actually breville has a new line up of smart espresso machine and the price tbh is cheap. The breville express impress is like $800 (AUD) / $1.3k (SGD) and comes with grinder... you cant beat that value lol

My Bezzera Strega is about 8 years old.
Probably due for some servicing though it's still working well.

Yes, I think i will just sell away and get a new machine, someone offered $1700 for my machine, waiting for another guy to confirm if there's a higher offer.

Getting either the Bezzera Crema or Aria
