One thing I've observed, that performance aside, Fury X is a technological bargain compared to 980ti. AMD is earning way less than NV per card sold. Minus the usual AMD hype crap, anyone saying that they have been uninnovating (*cough bmw cough love*) are out of touch
AIO CM CLC w/ tamed Nidec GT fan & HBM vs a 3-yr old Titan ref cooler slapped onto a newer gen chip. And one needn't worry about temps multi card config, Mikiberry can attest to that![]()
Yea, materials wise, Fury X is quite good. A short card with HBM and AIO cooler coupled with a Gentle Typhoon for the same price as the 980 Ti in exchange for a minor drop in performance is pretty great. Which makes me wonder how thin AMD's profit margin is for the Fury X.
